This makes my heart complete! I saw them in The Color Purple on Broadway back in 2016. I had never heard of Cynthia and was mainly excited to see Jennifer Hudson sing. I cannot adequately describe how astonished I was by Cynthia's live vocals and acting. It was life-changing. I was sobbing by the end of it. She's truly a once-in-a-generation performer that is truly magnificent. I'll be forever grateful for having had the opportunity to see her live and up close.
