These are super sweet. Love the foiled edge. Handmade gifts are the best. Some of my favorite memories are making handmade Christmas gifts with my Mom and Sister. Thank you for suggesting to include stamps with gifted notecard sets. I will keep that in mind. =)

A MISTI stamping tool would enable you to get a good stamped impression (on larger stamps) because you could accurately re-stamp your image until you got full toner pen coverage. Obviously not practical for a mass-production project, but would be good for a special design.

Hey Jennifer, thanks for showing us how to use the toner pen to foil with the minc. I've actually never done any foiling. I love how it looks but don't really what to sink $ into the machine. I've seen some other ways to foil and I would like to try doing one of them sometime. I've made one set of cards and I'm actually in the process of finishing those up. Thanks for sharing, Beth

Hi Jennifer.You are a great inspiration! I am sure I missed it in videos somewhere, but generally what do you use for card envelopes. I saw somewhere you like Hero Arts. but when I check that out they are all colored. Generally what White or Ivory envelopes do you use for the neenah white card stock or something neutral? One of my favorite projects you did was the Goldfish Stamped cards you did. Just beautiful. Thanks!

I loved these cards, and I thought what a great gift. I bought the toner pen, and it was very wet the first time I used it. Three days later I was finishing a couple of cards for the set, but the toner pen didn't work at all. It was like a dried up old marker. I was very disappointed. I bought 2 pens and I'm not keen to open the second one. I think a couple of other people have had the same result. Is it something I'm doing wrong? Would like to hear other people's thoughts.

Why cant somebody make a tone ink pad? In that way we can stamp our stamps on it and get foiled..... Calling calling the company! Thanks for sharing Jen! Beautiful creations again!

Jennifer, I need some help. I am making a large pegboard and want yo add lettering (not dirctly on the board, but on card stock) that will be foiled. What I need to finD is a way to stencil the words "HE HAS RISEN". Since I do not have a laminator, I want to do this without it. Where can I find 2" alphabet stencil and double stick sheets? Would I need to use a toner pen? Would this work?

i bought the Minc toner ink pen. I used it once to test it out and then put it away. A few days later, I went to go use it and it dried up! Is there a way to revive/refill it?

when u want to use a laminater since the pouches stick together what do u use to put the foil or pen in instead? and if u buy the Heidi swap machine and u have an ink jet printer can u use that or have to get a tonner printer to print things out?

+vicki jen has to be toner based. Ink jet won't work. A copy shop like Kinkos or Office Depot have toner based machines.

My toner pensions only worked the first time I used it to test it out, 2 days later, nothing. Very annoying, especially as I only did a bit of scribble to test it Plus I bought two. Not happy! 😠

Those inks always look blotchy to me. I also find that the Hero Arts inks never smooth out.

+Jennifer McGuire Ink Thanks, but I'm already using a high quality cardstock. Yours look blotchy to me too, so I think it's just the way the inks look. They aren't for me, but I'm glad you like them. To each her own. :)
