This is exactly why I moved me and my boys to West Virginia from Baltimore. I am a single mom I refused to have my children hurt or for them to become part of a gang. I am so proud of my sons one is a Marine and one is in the Army. I agree about parents needing to step up and be parents. The flowers Mrs. Jennings are gorgeous as always. I love to watch you make your handmade flowers. :) Big Hugs XX Christine

Fi, So right about the needle. I actually started using them about 3 months before you. Was thinking of suggesting it to you when lo and behold you said you started using them! I have had 5 hand surgeries and they don't want to work like they once did so every little thing helps! Gorgeous flower, as always!

For your hand pain - I have psoriatic arthritis - steep the leaves and stems of a marijuana plant (not the buds people smoke but the part they usually throw away) in 100% alcohol for a few days at least, then when pain is starting rub the mixture on the affected area. It dulls/numbs it to a bare-able level. I was surprised at how well it works! If you can't get pure alcohol where you are just use higher % available. Store it out of the sun. Sometimes it takes putting it one a3-4 times every few minutes but most of the time it is 1-2times .......I bought the long needles because of my hands also - can't wait to tell my hubby I'm not as crazy as he thinks I am - he rolls his eyes when I buy things to help make working with my hands easier....but it really does help. Love your tutorials!!! I hope my spelling is right - my eyes are blurry from my PA & I couldn't proofread this before I pushed the send lol I appreciate candor so i loved your little rant & totally agree!

Two reasons why I like your website; your instructions are easy to understand, and secondly, you do not use this time for you X-minutes of fame before a camera. I do not subscribe to channels where the hostess is acting out a part, grimacing and flipping her hair in excitement. Thanyou for being real.

Another beautiful flower with a beautiful lace bag. You are so very talented at everything you do. I hope Julie's son is OK. Raising children with good morals, honesty, respect for themselves and others begins and ends at home. It is the responsibility of the parents. It starts from the time they are very young. Doing wrong has consciences. Something that seems foreign to a lot of young people and some adults too. I will hush now. Hope your hands feel better. Take care. Pamela xoxo

Gorgeous flowers Fi and I love the new lace. I was disgusted at the elderly lady being mugged, they left her in a right state. It makes me scared to go out even with 3 big dogs coz they are taking dogs off people too now. I dread what it'll be like when my daughter grows up. :( it makes me want to emigrate to another country. Doll needles they are called, they are used for applying hair and eyes to dolls. Hope your friends boy is ok. Hugs xxx

Although I find the UK rich in history and characters, I don't like living in the city areas any more. I've taught some of the kids that have done bad things and they were problem children in school. Its their OWN CHILDREN I worry about most because what they do now will have a great effect on their own and although I'd like to think their own children would like to take the better track in life, I can tell it won't happen and things will only get worse because of the way the children speak now and that's from Nursery upwards! Sad but true and to be honest, its quite a scary thought. Fi xx

Hi Fi, on the subject of needles, I’m the same as you with doing lots of small work with my hands, years ago you told us about the big needles, it must have been at least eight years ago! I was luck cause my gran gave me some with a teddy she couldn’t finish. I did buy some more I think from your shop, then I got another lot from amazon. Sometimes when my hands are bad, I have to hold it on the first joint of my hand and the middle of my thumb, it always makes me laugh cause I look like I’m digging something, but I get there. Same with the feathers they are beautiful. Gorgeous flower Huggles (Scottish) xxxAnnxxx. P.s. They are dolls needles. Plus doctors need to get arthritis etc then they would understand the cold really does make it worse, my gran used to say, it’s going to be cold tomorrow, we used to say she was daft, next day it was frosty!
