Rhaegar, who very well could have done the right thing and not abduct at worst, groom at best, a 14 year old girl(the daughter of one of the most powerful lords in the realm and betrothed of another) and impregnate her while he was already married to the sister of yet another one of the most powerful lords of the realm, but instead he sacrificed everything because of some stupid thing he read thought it gave him the right to do those horrible things and damn the realm and his bloodline. If Rhaegar was actually a good man, maybe he would have actually recognized his father's inability to rule and gathered support to force Aerys to abdicate instead of causing one of the bloodiest wars westeros had ever seen. Also R+L=J isn't confirmed in the books, so I don't know who you are calling a show watcher lol. Rhaegar absolutely was a selfish, self important, self righteous targaryen and the realm bled for it.

Have you even read the books. She is very beautiful, I agree. But it makes me really frustrated when people assume stark looks through the show. The starks in the books were of darker skin tone, brown headed and had grey eyes and long face. While Rachel is fair of skin, dark haired with brown eyes. Neither her face is solemn and stern. She is rather softer in appearance.

One of my mother’s favorite book series was ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’. Although her health was failing when the TV show aired, we faithfully watched each week. A wonderful shared experience and priceless memory. For a few reasons, this song reminds my mother. And, never fails to trigger emotions. Yours is an exquisitely beautiful, haunting version. i like when I can tell that the singer feels the meaning of the words, that they have as much emotional depth as they have mastery of their vocal cords. You get the sense that Rachel Hardy is sympathetic to the plight of Jenny the Ghost.
