I think I went to Buxton Once (well been three times- once for when Peak Rail were assembling there). I was driving a Ford Transit Van , parked in the car park and reversed into the overhang of a market stall (I was not used to high doors etc at the rears of the normal small cars I drove). no damage other than a bit of pride so off before anyone noticed !

Invaluable bus service is the 199 and Transpeak (Runs from Derby, so often used this) in this area. That Manchester Wayfairer ticket is from memory, valid all the way down to Matlock, Derbyshire (I normally get mine from the CO-OP PayPoint place), and is one I have used an odd few times, although normally I use either the Derbyshire Wayfairer (Because I love the Peak District, and can get in via Sheffield too), or Trent Barton's Mango (Bus) if I don't want to go north of Bakewell / Chesterfield (I'm at Long Eaton, just up from East Mids Airport).

Brilliant video, just so annoying that Northern did what they like doing best lol 😂 It's fortunate that the slippery pavements didn't send you on the move the wrong way, especially with Buxton being so hilly, otherwise you could have ended up going a long way in the wrong direction

Excellent job Jen. Sometimes when a journey takes a turn you just embrace and go with it. Who knows what you will see along the way. All the use of lovely stone in building. Lovely walkabout in Buxton. Must say I could have done without the snow in London last week and now I am home, sick, and it is snowing here too. I dont have the option of good train and bus service and frozen roads with all the hills just are not in the cards.
