I honestly hope you've enjoyed watching this series as much as I've enjoyed making it. But... this isn't the last video from Cornwall... play the tense music and watch this space on Thursday! 🏁🏁🏁

Really enjoyed watching this series Jen, could see the happiness it bought you. You might need a few extra days do to Devon, Exmouth live is nice, shame there is no longer a line to Seaton or Sidmouth as they are well worth a visit. You've been past Teignmouth and Dawlish which are lovely, also there is the Torbay line, so much to do :) Rest up and hope your ankle gets better soon.

I felt the need to express my gratitude. I was feeling a bit down, a bit overworked and a bit November-miserable the other day. I decided to watch some feel-good KZbin courtesy of Jen. I got such a lift in my mood. Vicariously having a holiday in Cornwall, even though I was stuck somewhere far away made me feel so much more positive, was such a lift to my spirits.

Loved all the videos Jen, I was at St Germans in July with my husband and photographed him on the same bench by the river. We stopped in one of the railway carriages and it's brilliant. For up to 2 people the Luggage Van is awesome and right by the platform, the smaller one in the video. Lizzy and Dave are wonderful hosts and the Elliott Arms is very friendly. Glad you found your happy place.

GWR and CrossCountry do provide better rail services for Cornwall including stopping at most stations. And some of the smaller stations have wonderful features including the footbridge and waiting shelters.

Couple of things about Saltash - there's a live webcam you can view so you can watch your train going over the Prince Albert Bridge as you do it. Secondly there used to be a sign on the southbound platform that had "Welcome to Cornwall / Kernow agas dynnerch" in Rail Alphabet with a lovely big picture of the bridge but that seems to have been removed.

Brilliant video Jen and congrats on visiting every single station in Cornwall, I've enjoyed every bit of the series. As always, the views in Cornwall are amazing. Also I never knew there were 2 stations on the Tamar valley line in Cornwall until now.

It's worth alighting at Saltash just to get a look at the Royal Albert Bridge from the east/north end of the platforms. The only tubular suspension bridge I know of.

You have to stay at Railholiday at St Germans it's soo good! Especially the cosy Old Luggage Van! Dave and Lizzy who run it have been doing it for 25 years, they live in the station house. Their story is super interesting!

The HSTs were awe-inspiring when they were introduced in the '70s. 50 years on they are still good. What a fantastic design for a cheap stop gap until the APT was ready. (And it never was.) A trip on a flying banana enhances any journey. And you got to ride three of them! 😁

Haha great ending to the series and I have learnt a lot about an area I have not visited and the fact you showed us every station in detail was fantastic. I was going to suggest Devon next as the obvious choice as many amazing places there as well. If you do you should defo do a cream tea comparison to see which is best ps it’s the Cornish way 😂. Enjoy all the memories.

Saltash? I could understand if you said “Even Gunnislake (which as past Jen knows is a lovely line)” but Saltash is on the mainline and many services stop there. It’s a nice little town to visit if you don’t mind hills . But after St Germans, you’re used to it by now. 😀

Thanks for this fantastic series of videos of my homeland. I think I've been to all the stations except Penmere but seeing someone else give their take on them is great. I think this video is the best of the lot, and I may be being a little controversial here, but it's because you're on your own. It's just you and the railways, without any distractions for you or the viewer. Good luck and will look forward to the next videos.
