I bought the Patrick Ta palette and I love it. The creams are what sold me on it. Love them!!!! And I like the feel of the palette in my hand. I can hold it in one hand, use the lovely mirror, and apply the shades with my other hand. Just the right size palette. The best!

The Ordinary serum foundation is really good too. Around $7. I'm over 60 with dry skin and it feels great on my skin. Looks natural. I really enjoy your videos.

Finally tried the tarte butter lip mask thing with the flower top that you’ve recommended. I love it! It feels so nice to apply and have on, I like the smell, and my lips have been in really good condition lately! I got the brighter color option and it’s also just a really flattering flush of color on me, the word youthful comes to mind lol. I really like it and I hope they keep it. I keep it by my sink and put it on morning and night.

For years and years, I have always bought blush from Wet n' Wild. It's one of my absolute favorites to use. However, BECAUSE OF YOU, I decided to try the Essence brand of blush and OMG it's my new favorite. With Wet n' Wild, it has an eyeshadow "sparkle" effect whereas Essence is Matte. I really like it a lot. So, thank you! UPdate: I see you have the too faced BTW palette. Made my day.

I LOVE the BareMinerals Blonzer as a blush. I don't think I would ever use it as a bronzer, but as a blush it's stunning and the formula is great too. :)

Which was terribly unfortunate, it's a lovely product! I have been eyeing that Patrick Ta eyeshadow palette too but I'm determined to finish up my Catrice Basic Bae palette, which looks very similar as well!

The fact that you and Jen both love the product *as a blush* shows that they should have been marketed as such. Plus, "blonzer" is just clunky to say. @@kalena7126 I love it as a bronzer too! I get down with that Blonzer in two of the three shades all over my face! Maybe a marketing miss to a lot of people, which is unfortunate just because it's a lovely product that I think people passed off as gimmicky instead of giving it a chance. But that is the risk every business takes when marketing a product with a new kind of vibe! And I just feel like a product doesn't necessarily need to always be used as it's marketed to be great! We are all putting soap in our eyebrows and that's been working out just fine! 🤣 Also, no shade! Just throwing more cents in the pile! ☺️

I love these dupe videos! For me, what makes an alternative a true dupe is if they have the same color/shade range as the original or if the dupe has a wider range. I may not be able to find a true dupe for the Pat McGrath blushes in the color that I want, but Flower Beauty has a much better shade range for their foundation.

Im thinking so hard whether I should get the Patrick Ta major dimensions palette. I hated his blushes almost no pigment at all for my medium skintone. But his eyeshadow palette is so pigmented. But i already have Natasha Denona biba palette, bronze palette, sunset palette. And other neutral palettes from other brands. Im going crazy!!! Hahaha

That tarte foundation looks great, but I understand that denatured alcohol is the third ingredient which makes me wary about long term use for my dry skin. Interesting dupes for those PMG blushes. I wouldn’t pay that much for blush.

I also wonder if the Patrick Ta palette colors are close to my BH Cosmetics Studio Pro Ultimate Neutral palette (too bad about BH going out of business though they made wonderful shadows). It looks so close! 🤔I also have the Colourpop Bare Essentials palette too so I’ve been happy to skip the Patrick Ta one because I wasn’t that excited about yet another neutral palette (my collection is ridiculous) so I decided I need to find more things in my existing collection. Thank you for your dupes and comparisons. It’s been super helpful. I’ve had to put myself on a no-buy for eyeshadows for the rest of the year!😱😢 Same for blushes and lipsticks. Sigh.

I like the Hourglass ones a little bit better. The formula dries down all the way and they are more weightless so you don't feel them on your cheeks. I like the glow the Mario gives but I'm more likely to want something matte on an everyday basis.
