I think Winnebago should apply some of your upgrades with an upgraded bathroom to a new improved rialto. I think it would sell.

I think you are correct - if they re-launched the Rialta these days, they’d make a killing

Perfect size RV. Seems very functional.

Thanks for posting! I’m super into the electrical system y’all installed. My first night playing in our “new” ‘03 Rialta in our driveway, I realized that the battery set up for the coach is wildly inefficient. Going to use your blog post I saw yesterday about the electrical for some ideas. 🙂

That’s great to hear! I’m glad it is helpful - that’s why we share. I’m excited about your “new” Rialta and all of your upcoming adventures 😎 You can go to Battleborn’s website to get a list of all of the components we used on Lolo. There should be a link in the video description.

Well done. I looked at a 1998 Rialta today and need instruction for a newbie on the basics. Would you do an instruction video on how to fill and drain tanks, open and close the awning, etc? Thanks

Ooooh that’s a good idea! Unfortunately, we are currently on the boat in Grenada - so it will take a while for us to get to that video….

Nice upgrades, the inside of the shower door, to gray, is a cool improvement, why the industry stuck with that weird green for so long is a bit of a mystery, sure it indicates that its suitable for damp environment, but really......lol
@SailingLunaSea3 жыл бұрын
It was all technically gray when built. But the plastic faded out to various weird shades over time.

@@SailingLunaSea My bad, I was confused as to which were the b4 and after , inset and main body. Super neat little camper, hope you guys will point out any glaring issues if they surface in the future. This may be to small for what I need, considering that I want to tow my bike, but super cool just the same, and worth considering.

I'm picking up a 2001 next week that was professionally restored by pop top heaven. Only 39,000 miles. Since you've had this vehicle three years I'm curious how it's been mechanically and if you have any complaints?
@SailingLunaSea7 ай бұрын
We actually sold it a couple of years ago. For the time we had it, it was great. Congrats on the new purchase!

We have a 96RD and a YT channel where you can see how we've totally transformed the color scheme on the interior. We are Purple Flower Rialta on YT! Noticed you didn't have a spare tire in the "trunk." Is it hiding somewhere rlse?
@SailingLunaSea3 жыл бұрын
Our spare is mounted under the rig.

Hi! We have a 1995! Was your dining table a modification? Ours does not fold up and store that way!
@SailingLunaSea4 жыл бұрын
Hey there! No, ours came this way. I wonder if yours could be modified...? 🤔
@packratdavis15853 жыл бұрын
I have a 1996 and it has the table that does not fold. That was a design change as was the 5 cylinder engine going to 6 cylinders the following year.

Can this get up the hill, do you think it could you tow a 1300lb load ?
@SailingLunaSea3 жыл бұрын
We have definitely taken her up some hills! We do go however slowly she wants. I would not tow something that heavy. She’s not really built for it. That being said, plenty of people DO tow with them. Check out the Rialta group on Facebook for loads of useful information.

@@SailingLunaSea Ok, thanks much, I don't use Facebook, but will look for other Rialta groups. Checking out your boat/s next, pretty cool, seeing, the end of this vid, where you're waiting for the survey etc,,,,looks like you finally got it, will check it out. Cheers from az!

@@SailingLunaSea Yeah, thanks much, this is kind of a one man campaign, some really balk at the neg msg that you didn't see, until I convince them to actually read the issues pose , and digest the essence. I will likely post; 'thank you for no midrolls' again , on your boat vid etc, I try to rally support for everyone the puts up good content, and spread the msg. Cheers from az..!!

Realta is a great car, but it has one significant flaw - a gasoline engine and an automatic transmission. It would be much better if they thought to equip this car with Volvo engines 2.4D5244T with a capacity of 185 to 215 horsepower and a torque of 340 Nm. Despite all that, Swedish engines meet Euro5 standards and have a fuel consumption (diesel) of 5.5 liters per 100 km. This is for cars. For a motorhome, I think a figure of about 6.5-7 liters on the highway will be more realistic. But it is still many times better than the gasoline consumption of regular Rialta gasoline engines in combination with an automatic transmission.
