Jensen amps in the 90s were damn good. Buddy had a single 12 in a bandpass on a 1000 watt Jensen and it hit hard.

They can get loud. i ran one in a custom box a made with tunable ports for around 4 month. gave it to my nephew for his 18th birthday on a kenwood 150rms amp. ik its lil under powered but he loves it. just found your channel homie and like what i see. i subbed you and bass on bro.

I got 2 in a 3.7ft³ slot ported box tuned to 31 on a power acoustik 2500D at 2ohm. Dyno tests put that amp at 711 at 2ohm. Mids/highs are timpano 3"super tweeters, skar fsx65 midranges a pyrimid 6.5" midbass in each door. Doors are ran off a jensen 4 ch amp. 1&2 runnin tweeters at 90watts each at 4ohm Midrange on ch 3&4 at 2ohm stereo at 130 watts. Did the big 3 last weekend and added a fosgate 1 farad cap today. It gets down damn good to be a dollar store system. Its all in a 98 ram standard cab

Nothing wrong with being on a budget. Jensen 6x9's were my first dive into car audio in the 90's, off a Pyramid amp. I've also run multiple Jensen guitar loudspeakers in my guitar amps

These are actually not bad for the price! I actually have a pair these, i only use the when filling in-between upgrades, but let me tell ya they survied being on a 2000 watt skar amp being in an oversized spl box tuned at about 42 hz an they definitely bang for the buck. Just watch the excursion. Honestly they would probably do well in a sealed enclosure thats slightly over spec

@ezy.dung12 depends man, hitting lows depends on the enclosure you put them in. The definitely ain't going to handle extreme excursion but if put in the right enclosure can hit some lows. No sub is going to quote hit lows hard if the box isn't suited to do so. Put those in a box tuned to around 32 to 34hz with the proper air space an they should do just fine. Just watch the amount of power you give them. They are only 300watts rms each. I had mine slammin on a JP23, but with that being said i had the gain set lower cause that amp does more than double what they can handle at 2ohm

I can honestly say these Jensons slap pretty hard I have them in a ported box pushed by a Jenson 1,200 watt amp in my 2005 focus Zx3 hatchback and they pretty much Rattle the car apart

Finally a basshead on a budget, my budget setup is a single 10 kicker comp in a atrend ported box and the amp is a power acoustik razor 2500d and it's connected to my stock stereo and it bumps better bc I have a Bose sound system

I want to go buy one of those 12s today cause right now my brother has a 430$ sub on stock eletric so it clips I told him he gonna burn up the voice coil so if I buy this and put it in there it's less power so it won't clip and it will sound good but I don't think my Walmart sells these 😭 I hope they do

Sounds not as good as it could..I have two 12s massive 700 rms each with a great kicker amp with the right amount of power professional install and aftermarket radio and tuned to the right hz and frequency sounds great hits hard wasn’t too expensive and a custom portal box specifically for the subs it’s all about installation and being set right

Should've had them in a sealed enclosure, more efficient. Don't have enough power for that ported enclosure. Sounds like 200 watts ( conservatively) because you can hear your interiors being powered by 20 watts (if that) at high volume.
