Jensen didn’t want to be unemployed and I get him. It’s scary, after working 15 years on a show you suddenly don’t have a job. I’m sure it was weird for him. I think for me 1 month off is more than enough, I recently had 1 week off and I just didn’t know what to do with myself, maybe if I decided to travel it would have been different…

The core Supernatural cast had to have been to be one of the hardest working in network tv history. Yes, they made it to 15 years, but that was a direct result of the genuine commitment and effort they put into connecting with fans. Imagine working two weeks straight? It might not be chained to a desk, but that is time away from home, away from hobbies, etc. Getting from set to conventions that are half a continent away on weekends? The time changes? It must have been exhausting. I respect these guys (and their families) so much. That was sacrifice… ugh and then to be denied a series wrap party (thanks COVID). I am delighted to hear there are plans to work Jared into the Winchesters as the trailer just looked un-Winchestery without Sam - who is arguably more the researcher of the two brothers (and had a very emotional reaction in the S 14 reunion episode). I also hope the hokey sound effects (to me, the punches sound like cartoons) were just for the Winchesters *trailer*, and the show has some of the darker gravitas. For Jensen: I cannot wait to see what his future holds - thank you for this great interview with him :)

Stop asking about Jared's involvement with The Winchesters. Its not his baby. Its Jensens. You can tell that Jensen hated that question. It would make no sense for Jared/Sam to narrate when its Dean who is doing the looking.

It's a common question that they both know and faces everytime as they have been doing something together for 15 years. Moreover spn is the root of this show and both of them created it together. So there is nothing insulting or unusual about asking and seeing both of their involvement. If jensen had any issues with such question he would have asked them to remove it.
