I bought this unit because of this video. I'm able to mirror my phone, but it's not displaying other HDMI devices. At 1:00 you say you can use blue ray (etc) with this - how do you get them to display on the screen? The only menu option for HDMI that I see goes into the mirror link menu and will not display anything but an android or apple device. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3_HZa2VrrGbo5o

I purchased this product as well and although I love the radio overall it does not allow me to install custom wallpapers. It even says "set succesfully" when I apply a custom wallpaper from the settings menu via a MicroSD but it NEVER shows up. I tried restarting it and everything. Also, my receiver can't show videos from USB or MicroSD either. I have tried AVI and MPEG. It plays DVDs just fine and the HDMI iPhone mirroring works great as well. Please help. Do I need to update it???

I have it and I hate it. I don’t know if you guys have an updated version. I get a heart attack every time the phone rings and there is no way to adjust the volume. Also it takes for ever to boot up

This is a damn good very well made unit the only con if I had to say would be there's a couple of seconds load up on cds other than that great unit!

I fallowed the direction in the manual to set up personal wallpaper but it doesn't work. not sure why. picture format I tried are jpg, bmp, bmp2, bmp3

Similar, but the VX7022 is better. Main difference is it has built-in Navigation so you don't have to perform a mirror link or use your phone
