Pop-up laundry hamper is a good idea. I’m watching these videos just to get some more tips for parking more efficiently and affectively. I’m only going to and from the hospital but I do it every eight weeks or so. I am getting better at it - packing! I think if I can come across a slightly smaller pop-up washing basket then that might be just awesome! And you’re right, it would just fit in my suitcase... what I’ve bought and plan to use next time is a fold up suitcase which was like $15. Waiting for it to arrive so I will see how that works but certainly keep the laundry basket in mind because it certainly would fit in the bottom of my suitcase. Thank you so much. Are use a similar bag to what you call your big ugly plaid bags. I happen to get this awesome work bag when I bought a pillow. As I am chronically ill I emailed the store and ask them if I could buy some more of them. Well quite the opposite, they actually hand delivered me three or four. I was blown away by their kindness. It just shows (And remind me on a bad day - as I do spend most of my time in bed, certainly not by choice - simply by being so chronically ill that often I can’t even control my body temperature etc) that there really is lots of good in the world. That most people really do try to put out good.…Most people if they can do that to them might be relatively simple and they know will really make someone’s day who really isn’t having a good time in the world, well most people will do it. You know what I mean. Don’t get me wrong, kindness like that does not happen very often but when it does it well and truly blows me out of the water and just shows me how awesome this world of ours can be... By the way, you don’t look like you were running around after so many kids: I don’t know how you manage to pack, look after kids etc and look awesome doing it.! Well done... :-)

What a nice surprise to receive those bags hand delivered to you. I hope that you found this packing video helpful. It is always so much fun to hear from friends from other countries. Australia is very far from me here in NJ but I hear it is beautiful. I am very sorry that you are ill. I wish that you were packing for an amazing vacation rather than packing for hospital visits. I truly hope and pray that you will recover someday soon. :)

Great video! When I use my 31 bag, but need more structure, I put a plastic shoe container (no lid) in the bag...it keeps the bag firm & the items stay in place & organized (& easily removed when not needed)!

The collapsible hampers have been so useful this summer. They fold up easily and provide a great location for everyones laundry when we are away. Hope that you are having a great summer!

Great video. I do the same thing with laundry bags too. I always have one in each of our suitcases. We stay in motels down the shore so I bring laundry soap and wash our bathing suits by hand. Then we hang them to dry over the shower curtain rod. It always gets the floor wet. I thought about bringing a plastic folding laundry rack to set up in the bathtub to have them dry. I just can’t do it though. Too embarrassing to walk into a motel with one of those. Lol

Thanks for watching. I think its a great idea to use a folding laundry rack. I wouldn't be embarrassed by that. When we go to Disney I also like to wash clothing in the sink. Luckily they usually have that retractable clothes line in the shower to hand things dry. I have not yet seen that at the Jersey shore. Hope that your summer is going well!

Hi Jen! Loved the video. Perfect timing because I am going on a cruise in October. I got some ideas for packing....YAAAAAY! My favorite one was the shoe bag... Now I know how I am going to pack my shoes.... And yes limit what shoes I pack. Hahaha I am such an over packer! On the subject of luggage....I just purchased a set. So I will have to let you know how it handles traveling by air and sea :). Brand Calvin Klein... They look very sturdy and will travel well. Laurie 😇

Oh, yes please let me know how you like your new luggage. Mine is really worn and needs to be replaced someday soon. I do love the shoe bag though. It is working out well.
