I have to say, I've seen a lot of stable tutorials, but none that really caught my fancy. This one, however, I love; it's got a certain charm about it, rustic yet mildly posh, perfect for either a realistic Medieval build or a more fantasy setting. I think this will definitely become a staple of my settlements. Two modifications I might make to my version: 1. For the exterior sides of the stalls, I think I'd use cobblestone wall rather than fence; would make the stalls feel more substantial & add a bit more color contrast to the ground floor. 2. Especially on survival builds, I think I'd more likely use fences in the windows rather than brown stained glass, which would be very expensive if you don't have a jungle nearby. One could argue that the brick roof would also need to be changed for something else, perhaps oak wood, but if you have access to a river getting clay for bricks should no longer be a problem, especially with the new terrain generation. If I may humbly suggest a potential future project to add to your list: Have you ever considered trying a more Victorian Era style?

im only 2:19 into the video and the level of detail you have already given is incredible, ive seen so many 'tutorials' where they just start slamming blocks into place, without giving you any idea of how many resources you'll need. from the start you told us how many resources we'll roughly need and then you did the birds eye view of the pillars and showed the length and spacing of them all. fantastic, keep it up and the accent is definitely a plus lol

Built this on my single player server and extended it to house 20 horses in total, each with their own outdoor area extended from their stalls. its pretty large but the entrance to both the Stables itself and the horses individual stalls are all actually usable and you can ride the horses in and out easily! Love your designs and I am so happy to have stumbled upon your channel! you deserve way more views and subs than you have! Keep up the excellent work!!

Just so you know, jeracraft. A horse can not go through a 1 block gap when using fence gates, it has to be 2 fence gates, lol! That is if you meant for it to be used then you need 2 fence gates.

Thanks, Jeracraft! I really love your tutorials and the medieval styles. I built this stable but the horses cannot fit through the gates because they are two blocks wide. So I re-built my stable (through trial and error) and ended up making the spaces 5 blocks wide instead of 3 and I also made it taller too. It turned out really well and I used dual acacia doors for my stable doors (instead of the gates). I really love the way it turned out. Thanks!

Quick tip - to make it accessible to horses, you can just take out the 2x6 area where the normal door would be, and replace each stalls door with two fences on each side. Horses wont register the extra two 1/2 spaces and wont walk out, but you can easily ride 'em in and out.

I built this myself but with some roof customisatetion the way you did with the city hall build and i made the roof a little more curved upwards and outwards giving it a more nordic look, it looks a but better to my idea but its really everyone its own ;)

This is an old build, but looks great. Thanks Jeracraft! I recommend 5 block gaps instead of 3 at the very beginning. Use double barn doors. Use double gates in the stalls. The horses will fit better. Also, make the columns 5 blocks high instead of 3 at the very beginning if you want to ride your horse into the stables to put it in the stalls. Everything else is basically the same.

Love the builds....... but since I don't have a PC of my own I use the ps3 version to try and build most of these. Ohhh yea did I mention that I love the builds :) keep it up

Awesome building ! Made me want to sub to your channel :) In survival I had to make some adjustments, I managed to do so without changing the overall shape/size and leaving the 1st floor as is. Horses have to be lead from the outside as they cannot enter the single door. From the inside it gives the illusion of 4 2xwide stalls on each side while from the exterior you see there are in fact 2 big stalls on each side. But after all this game is all about illusion and make believe so it works for me :)

To make this build more effect to pen the horses, I removed the three fence pieces on the outside of each stall, and replaced them with three gates. Then simply move each "trough" so you don't step in it when you enter, replace the hay. Voila! Horses can be penned. :)

How long does it normally take you to invent a build like this? I love building medieval, I'm just not good at most buildings. I just don't want to build a cool medieval town but sorta just copy you and get praise for it. Do you have any suggestions on how to get better at building medieval?

I had to correct the stalls and entrance because horses can't fit through one block. Also the inside is very cramped so I took away the ceiling and had to cover up the balcony thing so that it wouldn't so open. Also it is very small and easy to predict what happens next. It's a nice little build though.
