a headcanon i've always had is that the grounders speared jasper in the first episode specifically because he held up the mount weather sign. it's safe to say the grounders were watching them from the beginning-but they never acted violently toward them until jasper held up that sign. so they probably thought the 100 were allies of mount weather

They actually mention this in the show, I can't remember what epsiode but I think indra says they looked like were from mount weather and confirmed they were working with them/trying to get to them by crossing the river. Even further the grounder that speared jasper is thought to either be lincoln or another trikru grounder that was ordered to not let them get close even tho it was dangerous for the grounders to be that close bc of the fog

One thing I really love about this show is the duality of themes. You will see it later on but especially how it's the vagueness of good vs. evil, high tech Ark vs. the "primitivism" of the Grounders, idk I could write a whole essay on this but I just needed to say it. This show does so exceedingly well compared to a regular CW show, it's excels at what it does. It's unafraid to make really hard choices, kill off important characters and not for the shock value, but because it's realistic and makes sense for the plot. It's a top tier show. I can't wait for you to see the rest

Jeremy they never were in Florida 😂 The filming is in Vancouver, and in the show, they are actually in Virginia :) They film on location so no green screen in most scenes!!! Season 2 and 3 and 4 are my faves hahahaha. This finale really brought it, but every season finale REALLY bring it :P I can't wait for more gah how do I wait even asdfghjkl

The 100 were originally supposed to land on the mountain where Mount Weather resides but because of a crash, they went off course and landed somewhere different. I wonder what would've happened if they landed originally where they were supposed to, next to Mount Weather. Would they have taken them prisoner right away? Would more of the 100 be alive? Interesting to think about. The Grounders aren't all wiped out, we saw in 1x12 that Tristan and Anya were talking about their commander, so someone is in charge of both of them, not only that but Lincoln mentioned allies of his clan (Lincoln is from the woods clan or Trikru) so they are different clans/groups of Grounders. It's safe to say that The 100 were fighting a group of the Grounders, most likely Trikru because that's Lincoln's clan and he was under command of Anya (until he became a traitor in their eyes) So there are definitely more Grounders out there if you do the math, etc.

4:28 When I first watched it I always assumed that they were excluding him and Raven and just focusing on the kids in that tally, and yeah when Clarke says "15 graves" she means overall not from the flu. I just assumed that a couple died off screen from the flu after Derek, but I'd have to watch again to be sure about the count.

I can't believe this is already the season finale, time passes way too fast. This is a long reaction, HELL YES! Good prediction Jer 😉 I never counted the number of death so I have no idea if the numbers check out or not. But, you're definitely not too far off. The maps they showed are misleading. "Uno Reverse" for Jaha so many times it's not even funny. Wells really did deserve better, he was a good person. I love the symbolism of only the outer ring of the Ark remaining. What a beautiful shot! Octavia's first kill with the sword, if you think she's badass now, I can't wait to see your reaction to her character development. The instant Abby said "I'm coming, Clarke" I knew Jer would make a joke and it didn't disappoint LOL Bless you Jer 🤍 The aftermath of the ring of fire is horrifying. There are many emotional scenes in this episode. The one with Octavia & Bellamy, Jaha‘s sacrifice and so many more. A phenomenal finale in my opinion.

I saw Monty and I was like “yep we good to go for next season” I wasn’t sure with how the show would go (again the books are quite diff, Wells is there for like the entire story) so the fact that Bellamy was left out kinda freaked me out for a sec but logically I was like nahhhhhh - either that or denial idk. Jaha staying stirred feelings ngl. I just feel like him and Wells were such great characters. Kane surviving actually made me glad cause from the things they showed of him in the later half of the season I could see a redemption arc possibility, aint sure but hoped.

I definitely feel as though anytime I hear we are farmers commercials I will only imagine we are grounders!!! Raven is truly just one of the bests!!! Also, it is good to know that I am not the only one that predicts what these shows say. Miller coming in toknock out Anya is amazing! There are no winners in war just pain, loss, and death. This episode really shows them how even when surviving... it comes at a cost. This season is one of my favorites for all th nostalgia and true survival aspects that are represented. I also love how in the pilot it was all about reaching Mt. Weather and the finale is them finally getting there.

Oh I like how they introduce ideas and characters early despite them not being used till later on it really shows that they had a plan and a direction from the beginning. (I'm not saying what/who cause I dont want to spoil anything). There was originally 102 passengers on the drop ship. 100 of them were prisoners, the other two were Bellamy and Wells. We all know why Bellamy was there, but Wells purposefully gets himself arrested which left his dad no choice but to send him to the ground along with the rest of the prisoners. That’s 102.

Actually, I’m not sure but there might have been 100 prisoners, that number INCLUDING Wells, and then Bellamy makes 101. I think the 102, comes from Raven. But I’m not sure whether there were 101 people on the drop ship or 102, but either way I’ve answered both.

No, it was 101 people on the drop ship: 100 juvenile delinquents and Bellamy as the stowaway. Once Raven came down, that is what made it 102. Wells got himself arrested but he was still part of the 100

Finn is just kind of a useless character. He wasn't needed in this show, even from the start. But he was right, they don't have a shot against the grounders. Clarke and Raven bonding is SWEET AS HECK. Pretty good finale but I cannot wait for season 2!

Bruh, I've Been waiting on your reactions to this since your work on The Originals. I like the fact that you're spoiler free and not in the "ship-wars" that some reactors are all hype on since it makes the reviews super biased. If it helps, 1) They're In Virginia and grounder location names will prove it plus there's a real Mt. Weather. 2) An accurate death count on the kids will drive you mental especially after season 2. Trust me you'll see.
