same here and it's actually true, he always has been the noble one, but never the one who lets new people in, he is the better brother but 24/7 invulnerable. The only person he felt vulnerable around was hayley, as elijah himself said.

That flashback with Hayley and Klaus at the beginning of the episode is one of my favorite moments in the entire show. That moment they shared when Hayley was holding Hope for the first time was beautiful as well. I get that Elijah was heartbroken, but he shouldn’t have blamed Klaus when he thought Hayley had died. Klaus was just as heartbroken. You could see it in his face he really cares about her and considers her family. Marcel coming in clutch and saving Hope was another one of my favorite moments. Marcel is probably my favorite character of the whole show. He’s so complex and he just gets better as the series goes on. Seasons 2, 3 and 4 are my favorites of this show, so you’re in for a ride! Don’t worry about the characters coming back that were dead. They handle Ester and Mikael extremely well next season. Plus it makes sense tying into the season 5 finale of TVD where a bunch of people were able to come back from the other side.

Elijah blamed Klaus for creating the situation that got Hayley killed, he said it in his rant towards Klaus... Klaus has made enemies every day of his life and even recently, after learning about the baby, instead of putting aside his greed for power and stop the machinations that create even more enemies, he just continued to do it... Elijah told him from the start to stop his grabs for power and think about the peace and quiet of the family, he didn't... Now, we know that one of the driving factors for Klaus 'plans' to take over the city is for his child to have a safe city but nobody can deny that the other BIG factor is his own greed for power; trying to 'create a safe environment' for his daughter by becoming king of the city thru violence and enforced superiority it's a risky move at best and likely to blow up in his face, as IT DID. And BTW, Klaus acknowledges that at the end; he tells Elijah that he was right about Klaus actions creating danger towards his family.

She plays so fu***ng well (and I don't know what happened that in last season of Legacies she played simply bad. I think she already wants to leave this show but she can't because of her contract).

The acting when Elijah says he doesn’t let people in was so good bc his voice kinda cracks, it’s not common to see Elijah like that and you can really feel the emotion. Seeing Klaus hold his baby and the way he’s looking at her is always such a beautiful moment. I also love that he gave Hope to Rebekah bc he trusts her to watch over his daughter and keep her out of harms way despite what may have happened between them the last time they saw each other 🥺

The scene between Klaus, Marcel and baby Hope is amazing to me! How Klaus wasn't worried about his daughter when Marcel ran off with her, how he just walked in calmly with no anger or anything. He *knows* Marcel would never hurt her. Then how Marcel apologised to Klaus for bringing Mikael to town, and Klaus forgave him and gave him his blood. And how soft they were. I *love* the moments where Klaus and Marcel are getting along and acting like the Father-Son duo they are. And Klaus asking Marcel for permission to hold his own daughter, then his face as he takes her and looks at her properly for the first time. That moment he realises that he would do absolutely anything for her. Then how she looks over at Marcel and they both smile and laugh. It's just such a sweet moment. It's a Father with his two kids. I love it!

I agree with you that when characters die they should stay dead. But this show is "The Originals" and over half of the original family was killed off in TVD and that's not even their main show and a lot of those characters weren't fully fleshed out because of that so I think it is okay to do it in this instance. Also this show likes to pretend like you never watched TVD, so to someone who just watches The Originals first they never brought Mikael "back". Its equivalent to bringing Genevieve back to them basically because they never knew him before and that's what they want, for you to know all of the family. And even if you did watch TVD they want you to know them more than you did in TVD, Mikael had like no depth just was a fun villain. I'm sure you will like the choice eventually, I hope this gives some perspective.

Elijah's moment to Klaus about Hayley was very emotional, and shout out to him for naming his niece indirectly. Also, that ending: what an unwelcoming family reunion.

One of my favorite episodes from all the shows, the performances are top teir. The opening scene is such a sweet moment of bonding between Haley and Klaus. Such a small moment of joy when Haley holds her baby, followed up by her being brutally killed, such a beautiful and painful contrast. You can really see the devastation of the brothers in the church. Haley coming back as a Hybrid is perfect, love that she can just sense where her baby is. The star is such a visually effective death, really impactful. Klaus's tenderness and kindness really shine through this episode, his softer moments are so impactful. Of course with Elijah in the church, but also with Marcel, he knew that he would never hurt his child. Klaus telling Rebekah there is no-one he would trust more than her with his child is such a perfect moment, it feels so well earned after their relationship this season. So excited for your reactions to next season.

This was a very emotional finale. The acting is so raw, especially Daniel Gillies when he talks about how he never lets people in.... Oh season two has a lot of surprises in store and one of my absolute favorite characters will finally show up. I'm so excited to see what you'll think of that new character.

Dont worry Jer, a newborn baby cant even hold their own head up, let alone roll over yet lol Papa Klaus ❤ ...The Klaus and Hayley flashback was so precious, seeing Klaus feel Hopes kick. All the Klaus and Hope scenes were everything to me this episode, i remember when it aired, i kept repeating those scenes because they were so moving and it was amazing seeing that instant change and love at first sight in Klaus, when he finally gets to hold and properly meet his littlest wolf.

This is SUCH a great finale and hits on a deep emotional level. I remember just crying over everything that happened cause I'm a wreck but especially when Rebekah came back because i really wasn't expecting her because they had announced Claire had left the show after 1x16 and I wasn't expecting to see her so soon at all but it worked out perfectly for them honestly, like she left just so she could come back here. I loved it. And i understand about wanting characters to stay dead but also when they killed Mikeal, Esther, Finn, and Kol on TVD they didn;t even know they would get the chance to make The Originals so they were trying to rush through plot lines thinking it was their only chance but bringing some people back here I think works so well and trust me there is SO much more story to tell with them and I love that show really gives the space to go in depth with a lot of those relationships.

I remember how I was on the edge when I first watched this season....that Hayley's death just took my breath away!! she has been my favorite I would have hated the makers if she would have died actually!. Klaus looking at his child, the emotions the love!! that moment when Hayley talked about how she has to drink her baby's blood to survive and she is the one who loves her the most in this world! god!! dammit, those emotions I cried so much!!!! and then Klaus calling her sister and sending his daughter away with her!!!.......this episode is pure perfection!!!😭❤

@@c7nal7ammadi78 Hahahahah you sure do!😂😂😂 I'm just waiting for Jeremy (or Jery 😂 ) to reply to me so that I know that he saw the comment and then I will stop and HOPEFULLY he will decide to do Bitten or Siren first because at the moment his plan is to finish The originals and then do The 100 & Teen wolf (depending on the poll which will win to be first and which to be second) so that means around 270 episodes/almost 1 year before he will be done will all these 3 shows and will start a new one, so I'm hoping he will see my comment and reconsider reacting to bitten & siren first so we dont have to wait 1 year, plus both siren and bitten are only around 30 episodes so he can finish them both pretty quick and then continue with The 100&TW... sorry for a long answer

Even if the actual act of Hayley becoming a Hybrid makes no sense to me maybe you can explain it to me so I understand....How did Hayley actually turn knowing that originally the whole concept of a Hybrid was that the blood of the Doppleganger ie Elena as a human was needed to complete the transition otherwise Wearwolves would go insane and die...Her being in transition because of Hope's blood sure, but how did we take the feeding off the Doppleganger out of the way? instead she needs to feed on Hope's blood again what? they played it off as Klaus merely exposing it verbally but from the first time I saw it I was like' heh what?, how did we get to that conclusion, that's not how it worked originally was it?' lmao I hope i don't understand it and it's not a continuity error it seemed like a convenience on the writers part to omit the doppleganger aspect and I don't like that.
