I mean. The serum is literally her blood with some dark magic. She’s probably the only witch able to kill an upgraded original. She created the dagger that can kill marcel, as well as the cure for their bite and she also removed Lucien’s powers. And that’s probably because her mother made vampires.

@@raulantunez4228 that's to create fire, Freya got the spell after sacrificing Davina so she can control the ancestors powers so she was able to take Luciens powers and she was only able to do it once, but she could've dismantled marcel cos his physically much weaker than Lucien, he doesn't have the ancestors and his weaker against magic than normal originals

Bro it’s good when Haley gets beaten by these vampires cause the show is being realistic, she can’t always be winning like other seasons, it wouldn’t make sense. She hasn’t even lived many years and she’s facing 1000 year vampires….

I agree, although it's not clear how the raw power/ experience dynamic is really measured in theory, fresh hybrids are supposed to be more powerful than even 200 or 300 year old vampires when Klaus makes them which doesn't make much sense at all to me other than their bite being lethal, then again maybe superior raw strength as calculated by supernatural force by virtue of them being hybrids could make them more 'physically' powerful, not a lot of answers just more questions, even if I agree this never made much sense when someone has 800 years old on you being supernatural...Just like Lucien here btw, it's not obviously clear how by virtue of being more juiced up and turned into what he is makes him adequate to now beast Klaus in hand to hand while he presumably couldn't do it before probably increase in speed in that case I guess..

Incorrect, Klaus has lost to Mikael in the show. Remember when Mikael staked Klaus with the white oak stake, but davina and kol stopped the effect of white oak to save klaus. Mikael was the only one stronger than Klaus before Lucien became upgraded

And a nice call back to that time Lucien called her and she half joked/threatened to “hang what remains from a pole”. 15:10 also, I just realized Hayley can go into that penthouse since she’s not sired to anyone. Just a nice touch.

Ima explain, freya is incredibly strong but it’s coming from the whole sleeping for years thing and all that saving up on magic etc etc, the witches in New Orleans do it from their ancestors, but the Bennett’s coming by way of Salem, have the magic that’s drawn from the earth and nature etc... Bonnie was already incredibly strong while being a newbie in tvd.... so ima be honest freya cool and all but Bonnie is elite for me Also...... love you cami.
