May I ask a question that has to do with false prophecy? There seem to be 2 camps in the church: continuationism and cessationism. I don't like either camp. I would rather know God through the Bible and test the spirits through His written word. Is that ok, or do I need to pick a camp? Thank you very much!

you can pick the church but, not all the things that they will doing is right so the church that you havepicked pay attention to what they do if whatever they are doing dont allign withe word of father dont do it be aginst them, follow the word of father only, we live in this word but we are not of the this word live among them but you only obey the standard of father

I know this question was 3 years ago but the short answer is no, you're not obligated to 'pick a camp' here -- if it was something like the deity of Christ and the Trinity vs. Unitarianism or Modalism, then yes, you need to pick a side. When it comes to the bare essentials of the faith and salvation and who Jesus is, you have to make a choice. If you're interested, there's a good debate between Michael Brown and Sam Waldron, moderated by James White on this subject. Perhaps it will help you come to a better understanding of the topic.

@@skippy8696 I am not trying to argue here. It occurs to me that there is a correct answer. The Spirit of God is either moving as before or it is not. So there is a correct answer to her question yes? No?
