This year's AI is probably the most stacked in the history of the show. I personally think Alejandro is the best overall musician, But I could also see Jeremiah winning this because I think he is the best vocalist. There are other great contestants with a unique sound and stage presence as well.

You know, I have to agree with you on most of what you say, but just yesterday I scoured around for anything I could find on Jeremiah. Did you know that he's written and performed some incredible smooth jazz? Because of that, I now think he's breathing down Alejandro's neck as far as being the best musician goes. As for the best singer, that's a no brainer. He's historic and will go very far whether he wins or not. Oh, by the way, I think Uche easily has the best stage presence. I am shocked that America didn't vote for him last week, and that he had to get saved by Lionel.

This is the strangest thing because I went full circle with this song. I'll probably post my own reaction, even though I have no videos, because motherf*ck. okay. In short, this song is painful. To be honest, I thought it was almost TERRIBLE from that first verse where he puts in "pointing to the exit sign" Wump wump, some sad song eluding to death or suicide. Hard pass. And then of course the chorus, and he's making a room for me. Oh, he's making a room for me! And he's apparently murdering me in it because I cannot handle it. My poor gay heart. T_T Right, so the problem with this song isn't going to be the song. It's the time and place he sang it in, because people suck. This is a raw, emotional feeling that a lot of gay people experience, and now it's just up in the world for others to essentially be like "yeah, almost. Hope he finds the Lord. I hope I can find this on Spotify later :)" I'm glad he's made music from his experience and all that, and I'm not suggesting he shouldn't be free to perform. All I'm saying is maybe America didn't deserve it. Maybe they're not ready yet, but I guess now we'll see how that goes. I'm just concerned.
