Kolbe can do everything that Du Pont does. Kolbe can play 9,10,11,12,14, and 15. Kolbe can do lineout throws, 50m drop goals, goal kicking, bumping off huge defenders, stepping off both feet and beats defenders like they are training dummies. He's won major trophies in 15s and 7s. Du Pont has a long way to go, at least 2 world cups in fact.

Before Rassie Erasmus took over the Springboks in 2018 after a disastrous reign of Allister Coetzee, no one expected Kolbe to be part of the team. I remember hearing Jack White saying he should rather play as a scrumhalf. It was his time in France where he was a fullback that Rassie decided to select him as a wing, man everyone can't doubt him now. But he had to prove himself in France and now will go down as one of the best wings we ever had not only in tries he scores but his overall game, the little man with a very big heart. He earned respect and changed the way South Africans look at the players, we no longer want everyone to be as big in order to wear Springboks jersey but what one brings

Only Morne van Der Berg, a scrumhalf weighs the same weight as Kolbe. Kolbe has proven himself across test rugby and tournaments in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Antoine Du Pont has only proven himself mostly in the North Hemisphere and was only on the bench in his younger days when France toured South Africa. Cheslin Kolbe is dynamic and exciting, he can cut through a defence like a knife through butter, and one could say he is the best rugby player in the world at the moment.

Kolbe has proven himself over many years and in many different geographical locations! He also has proven himself world class in 7’s and 15 man rugby! DuPont is a great player, no doubt, however not quite done it for as long as Kolbe! Also Kolbe skill set from line out throws at test level, to drop kicks, place kicks, brutal tackles and then his attacking play is streaks ahead of DuPont!

CK is box office and as much as you'd be in awe of watching Du Pont, you'd be on your feet in excitement everytime Kolbe gets the ball or is chasing a kick. Cheslyn Kolbe is by far one of the most versatile players in the world. Many say his on par with DuPont but in my opinion he makes dupont look like a schoolboy. Cheslyn is the G.O.A.T period. Kolbe all the way !!!! Dupont is great in his position. Kolbe is great all over the field. He can play in many positions and be great in all of them. Wing, fullback, flyhalf, scrumhalf. He can throw into the line out and find his jumpers, place kick from any position on the field successfully, and dropkick from the halfway line. On top of all that he has speed for days and can leave defenders standing with his footwork and bump off defenders twice his size with his sheer power play. Is there even a debate here?
