Naga is classified as a super-hot chili pepper and it is therefore not recommended to eat it raw and pure as Jeremy did here without having something available to counteract the intense heat like milk, yoghourt, olive oil or sugar. Having said that the people of Bangladesh where the pepper is considered more or less as part of their staple diet do on occasions eat the pepper raw as an accompaniment to other food.
