Although funny, there is no way she did that. 2l of fuel would get an Accord about 20kms. Gas stations are sometimes further apart than 20kms.

The main problem is the fact that petrol stations have a minimum spend limit, usually around £4-£5 if I remember correctly

For anyone who actually wanted an answer to that last question: Those automatic service notifications that newer cars give you are basically suggestions. Very few cars have the ability to actually monitor wear and tear on itself. Those notifications are based on recommended manufacturer service intervals but if you look at the owner's manual, service intervals may be different depending on how you drive, your location's weather, etc. If you drive a lot and hard you need to service more often vs if you drive rarely and drive calmly. Please read your owner's manual and use your best judgment on when to get your car serviced. And if you plan to actually own your car for a long time, servicing your car more often is better than servicing it not enough. An extra few hundred bucks over the lifetime of your car is worth the extra years you'll get at the end not to mention the headaches you'll likely save.

You will be surprised that car's now get feed back from the EMS on oil pressure to the cam shaft etc My Honda engine light came on and reduced the engine revs to avoid damage. Synthetic oil breaks down very quickly if hi miles or over temperature so be careful

Actually some cars got service book in their computer and if you ignore for example this "Change oil" message it will always be there and next buyer will know that the car wasn't serviced properly.

My dad had the same Nissan Sunny 1.5 SGL but it was in a nice shade of blue. This was after the Citroen CX. It was actually alright but I have never driven a car with more steering feel. In the rain or snow it was brilliant, you cld take the car up to the very limits of adhesion and feel the tyres scrable for grip. I would buy one today just to drive in the rain.

As a teenager a Datsun sunny had the benefit of the front seats that could go completely flat with leaver. Proved very useful.

I had a Sentra (the American version of the Sunny) for several years and it was a reasonably reliable little econobox. All I needed, really. Well, until I took it to Alaska and the computer card messed up so it wouldn't start when it was below zero. And you could see the street through the bottom of the trunk as I bought it on Guam and the corrosion there was terrible. Other than those things it was fine.

Jeremy - the audio from whatever is the source of your microphone is fairly awful. Wonder if you can get it fixed. Maybe a decent hammer will do it although it's probably just the webcam's mic doing the damage. Nice to hear your voice but it sounds like you've got the "mumps", even if I'm hearing artifacts from either the audio codec compressor working overtime - which might be a configurable setting of your audio input device, or from witchcraft.

I almost failed my driving test because I dropped the car key and it fell into the centre console in a gap between the handbrake. Had to remove the centre console DURING the driving test to fish it out. I'm pretty sure I got a pass because he felt sorry for me.
