JEREMY CLARKSONS FARM SEASON 2 CLARKSON VS THE COUNCIL

It really highlights that the older generation really couldn’t care any less for the generations that will live on after they pass away. Notice how the ‘youngest’ councillor is in favour of Clarkson and sees the logic; whereas the older council members are just ‘I want to go for walks in areas of natural beauty for the next few years before I die’

yeah, lol and then they complain that the country side is dying and WHY ARE YOU CLOSING ALL THE SCHOOLS!!!!

Coffin dodger. Second that old bat opened her mouth my eyes rolled so far back I thought they would get stuck in the back of my head. Typical old moaner wants to feel important before she’s dust in the ground.

I don’t think I’ve ever been more angry regarding what was going on a TV show than what happened right here. People’s obsession over “dark skies” had essentially fucked over several people for employment as well as several farmers who were severely struggling at the time.

Relax, it is all part of the script.

Local councils are a cancer. Most are now bankrupt and often spend millions on pointless statues, water fountains and nonsense. In Birmingham City Center near the main square, they've literally dug up and repaved some fancy slabs about 5 times in 10 years, probably spent £10m on it given the huge amount of workforce doing nothing most days of the week

All the time they tell farmers to diversify so they can have a stabble income. Yet they block the transformation

Does anyone understand what these council members were talking about with the skies at night thing? I thought I might understand it with a second viewing, but each time it seems to make less sense
@izumikonomi332011 ай бұрын
Light polution most likely, areas with less lights from the ground allows u to view more stars and even the milky way galaxy in the night sky

@@Kevin-hx2kyyea but when is the average person ever gonna be in those places. The claim about light pollution is an absolute rightful claim, though one easily refuted if Clarkson just limited opening hours to before nightfall.

@@Georgefloydthesneedster or if the council is actually worried about light polution, just put a ban on putting lights along private roads and parking lots without council permission.

We need to start telling our elected officials what we want them to do instead of asking with our empty bowls out like oliver twist. They have too much control and only want to help themselves.

From my understanding, you're always welcome to turn up to local counsel meetings and have your say. The issue is, people would rather complain online than participate.

Look I am 22 years old living in the balkans. Primary problem with our farmers comest from overubandce of imports and little to no goverments subsdidies. Now explain me this do these people do not know what kind of brand Diddly Squat and the restourant represent. People will not come because of Diddly Squat itself if they did they would surely be less of them they come because Jeremy is the owner Jeremy is the brand name you may or may not like him but he himself is a brand he will bring customers he will provide jobs imagine telling friends family colleagues I have been to/working at ,provided supplies for the place that Jeremy owns Are these people insane

Looking at this, I realized that in reality we are facing exactly the same problems in Africa. rules and no logical decisions made by “majority”. Rules and decisions should be made by people with high IQ and knowledge who are naturally a minority.
@entomember6 ай бұрын
That’s called eugenics. Giving greater rights and power to people with characteristics deemed “more worthy”. And given that no one intelligent would ever suggest it, I doubt it would end well for you. Representative democracy is a bad system, except in comparison to all the others.

I don’t live in a small village like that nor do i live in a massive city like say Manchester, I’m right in-between. But one thing that really annoys me is that this get voted down but you should see my area!!! Scruffy smelly markets, dirty kebab shops every 100 meters and litter and actual shitty nappies all over the pavement!! How does that get approved leading to all that mess. Pisses me off big time
@Triv1umxxx5 ай бұрын
That's kind of the problem though, the "right in-between" is where most people live. The nice cities and the rural areas are where the rich live. They want the shit forced in the middle.
