One problem is how governments behaved during the flu panic, countries that were more dictatorial like Canada and Australia and China will see their smarter people look elsewhere to do their work in the coming years. This is true of U.S. States as well, California loses population while Texas and Florida grow. It's not as simple as saying you need to grow an industry, you need to make the environment friendly to that industry. Detroit died for similar reasons, etc, etc.

G'day Jeremy, Power to the people! People of the world unite. I am fortunate that I have my USA, Irish (E.U.) and Canadian (not certified yet) citizenship. Maybe it would be nice to have Australian citizenship too. Do you know influential people? I love to surf. I will be 63 years young soon and a not in top form, so no threat to other surfers in the lineup. Think I might like to live somewhere on the Sunshine Coast? Caloundra? Or maybe Torquay? I don't want to resort to asking A.I. these uber important questions. Aloha.
