JJ is so smooth and easy going. Great announcer. If you run into a Yank or Brit embassy guys, they should be able to hook you up with some hooch. No shortage of booze in Saudi. Just gotta know the right people.

"No shortage of booze in Saudi." It's even available in many government buildings there.

JJ is a great player and commentator. Pro tip: keep some surgical alcohol wipes in your bag. Not just good for cleaning a carbon shaft; alcohol also has the effect of an anti-perspirant to keep the palms dry. Wipe the palm before playing and it keeps things from getting clammy.

Kinda figured it would be the case, but good to see someone doing one of these that actually knows their equipment. So many people don't seem to really know their weights, sizes and diameters, tips, etc. Knew JJ would be on top of things.

I still use a old Lucasi Jeremy Jones signature cue, it's a jump/ break cue but I normally shoot with it with a jacoby carbon fiber or a newer zero flexpoint wood shaft. It's balanced perfectly for me

I started using Triangle tips. They do hold that shape longer. Did take me about 10-15 hours of practice to start liking it.

I agree that front and back balance on the cue is more important than overall weight.

Hello, I want to ask about the difference between gen 1 and 2. Is the performance of gen 2 better than gen 1 or is it just the design?

That’s why i prefer wrapless cue doesn’t slip in my hand. And i want the balance in the front. I like the weight close to my bridge hand

Karl, there’s something I’ve been dying to have a pro show us how to do and that’s using a shaper. I know a lot of players are sponsored by Cuetec, maybe you can have someone show us how they shape with the bow tie? ❤ please

Can anyone explain to me why my NATURALLY HAVE A SLIP STROKE? I had no idea it had a name or was a specific stroke I just do it subconsciously..
@PalidicoVermingagurania3 ай бұрын
It’s a natural shortcut!
@WNTR983 ай бұрын
i also do this naturally , i wouldnt call it a shortcut ? its just a result of not squeezing the cue with your back hand through your stroke which is a good thing. And with that light pressure the cue will tend to release from your hand completely for a moment on certain shots.
@johnny5ramos3 ай бұрын
It's okay to have a slip stroke. As long as you follow through on the stroke. Mosconi supposedly had a slip stroke as well.
@justinrutledge60903 ай бұрын
@johnny5ramos i know i don't do it all the time, usually I will be so concentrated on the task at hand an for whatever reason my brain problem solves an will say the result is the slip stroke, I will end up with a 6 to 8in slip where I'm just catching the butt of the cue, usually a draw shot.
