As somebody who has been perpetually and wilfully single for years now, (partially due to abysmal social skills that needed learning, partially out of 'Well now I'm not doing it' feelings about all the people asking when I was gonna find myself a someone) and with no motivations to change that, this song just did it... Both Jeremy and Andy make it so painfully obvious how head over heels their characters are, but the way Jeremy is singing that song is so convincing, it makes me want to feel that way about someone... No amount of family or friends claiming they just want me to find happiness and love when they keep pressing the issue of my relationship status have been able to do it, and then Jeremy Jordan pretends to be someone who is pretending to be someone else and that someone^2 is so adorably, stupid-in-love, and suddenly I'm all like, 'Ooohh, I want that too!!
