There is a superior timeline where Jeremy Jordan didn’t lose his voice and was cast as Phillip and had his big pop culture moment to where you could say his name and instantly people knew him as that amazing singer from The Greatest Showman and I WANT TO LIVE IN THAT TIMELINE. Anyway I loved your reaction! Can’t wait for more!

So true! Not many people don't know about Jeremy, and I feel like he's underrated. The day will come when he has a huge role in a big movie. I can't wait for that!

If the Greatest Showman ever came to Broadway I am starting a petition to give Jeremy the lead.

Jeremy told this story with so kuch humility and humor. And Lord!!! What I wouldn't give to have the version where Jeremy replaced Efron. Jeremy is such an amazing talent.

I would have loved to see Hugh Jackman reach out to acknowledge Jeremy Jordan’s talent

I love Hugh Jackman but Jeremy’s voice is so much stronger . Hugh sells his songs through personality .

if you watch that video where Hugh was singing, you can see Jeremy next to him and I can tell he looks shattered :/ poor guy

I think that was the presentation he was referring to in this video.

Carry On was Jeremy's one-man show/play/concert he performed at 54 Below in 2019. It was adapted for Livestream and ran from May to June 2021 on 54Below website. It is no longer available. I'm still waiting for Jeremy to come out with his own album. He wrote a song named Carry On for this show that's now on KZbin. He said he wrote it in 2 weeks which is incredibly impressive. For all the JJ fans who haven't seen it yet, check out Tomorrow Begins Today with JJ, and 3 other broadway stars on KZbin. It's epic! Like an angel's choir, seriously!

Tell me about it! This whole story made me sad too, although I did laugh with the audience. It does hurt my heart though, I had seen the video with Hugh singing, and I never realised it was Jeremy until this video. It must have been devastating for him. He was wonderful here though. I don't think Hugh's choice to sing was anything mean spirited, I doubt he knew just how much Jeremy put towards it, and he just wanted to sing and be the character. It was something he had wanted a lot, so he went for it - but Jeremy did get the bad end of the whole thing. I would have loved to see him in the film.

I don’t think it was mean spirited necessarily, but Jeremy Jordan and Cynthia Erivo are just blatantly not mentioned in the features for the movie and Jackman never even acknowledges them.

@@Sharpe1502 Wait...Cynthia Erivo? She played a part in The Greatest Showmen too? What did she do if you don't mind me asking?

I mean to be fair, this movie also meant almost everything to him as well. It was a passion project.

The producers did him like crap. But he didnt need to act in the greatest showman. Hes living the greatest showman life.

It was his one man show that he toured with just pre-pandemic…he did release that was on demand for a limited time, but not sure if it’s still available anywhere to watch.

Carry On was a one-man show Jeremy did for 54 below. They were selling live stream tickets, but I don't think they have it archived for future viewing. If someone saved a copy of it, hopefully they'll post it one day, but for now, I think we just have these official clips they released.

You know what? When I have the money, I'd totally get the official instrumental (probably buy it from the producers), hire Hugh and Jeremy, and have them sing "The Other Side" together. That would make my dreams come true.
