Do you think posting harmful information in a public forum about an organisation that you supposedly value, without being sure if the information is true or not, is a good approach or gentle? Then complaining because they organisation got upset at you for posting harmful information (reckons he was only seeking answers, pull the other one). I also want to know why he is surprised that he was called to a priesthood meeting to discuss his actions? Jeremy made promises or covenants in his LDS Temple and then broke those promises and got the consequences (reckons he left on his own accord, right mate, like it wasn't coming). There is no surprise here unless he really didn't understand the LDS religion and what he was getting himself into when he did his endowment.

This means simply, Rome has spoken, the cause is finished. Here in Utah we say, "the brethren have spoken, there is to be no more thinking or discussion on the matter". It is my observation that the official church here in Utah is not unlike being smothered in marshmallows, or being drowned in a vat of Jello. It can start out to be a "sweet" experience, but in the end, like all cults, it becomes stultifying.

I realize there are some translation errors in the Bible but don't Mormons claim to use the Bible (as long as it doesn't contradict the Book of Mormon). Just hearing this. As a never Mo I really struggle along with many others about the trauma people feel about being excommunicated. If you feel that strongly about the churches teaching just keep quiet until you find another church where you can worship. In the rest of the world no one really cares about the Mormon church unless there is something illegal. Excommunication is just not a big deal. Your local news should cover this but national news only covers things of interest to the whole country. Most people just think it’s just those crazy Mormons. Maybe you could do a show on why excommunication is so hard for church members.

Mormonism explained: 1. A young treasure hunter with a history of being a con man was chosen by a deity to dig up ancient golden plates, translate them by use of some carnival sunglasses and magic rocks, beg for the money to publish it, and then deliver said plates to an angel that took the plates back to Disneyland. 2. God has a wife, Mrs God? If Mormons on Kolob are supposed to have an infinite number of wives, why does God only have a single wife?kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKrPXmluhdeMjM0 3. Sacred Underwear has magic powers. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJTFl5qjpNd8fac 4. Reformed Egyptian existed as a language leaving no archaeological traces. 5. Old White dudes in Salt Lake City receive? direction from a Deity on Planet Kolob.kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5elc5anoMaYrbs 6. An ancient civilization existed in the Western Hemisphere consisting of Lamanites and Nephites in a limited geographical area that hasn't been found. 7. Joseph Smith's wife caught him having sex with another woman and he told her that God commanded him to have many wives. Mrs Smith believed him. Mrs Smith certainly wasn't the brightest penny in the pile! 8.Blacks were banned from the? Mormon priesthood because they remained neutral in the Great Celestial War !?! However, in 1978 God telephoned the head of the LDS and removed the ban on blacks. This, of course, had nothing to do with the Federal Government's threat of the LDS losing its tax exempt status for being a bigoted organization violating basic US civil rights. 9. Both Ann Frank and Adolf Hitler are of the same religion as they have both been posthumously baptized in the Mormon religion. In Mormon heaven, aka Planet Kolob Jews and Nazis live together in loving peace. 10. Actually the Mormon men are too busy to fight as they have to copulate with their infinite number of celestial wives. Every copulation leads to the creation of a human soul. 11.Joe Smith also wrote that the moon is inhabited by people dressed like Quakers: www.mrm.org/moon-men I don't know why the Apollo missions didn't encounter these moon men. These 11 topics are only what I could write from memory. Please correct me if any of these facts are erroneous.? If Mormons are named after the "Angel" Moroni, then why don't they call themselves Morons? I can't claim credit for this last statement as it came from "Angels in America." However, it's so good that I had to use it. :-) See you on Planet Kolob! I'm hieing to Kolob right after I finish writing this. PS Brigham Young the Moron prophet had 55 wives all under 18 years of age when he married them. He was found of saying, "I don't care how you bring 'em as long as you bring 'em young!" PPS Where's the Inquisition when we need it!?! The Church of Moron admits that Joe Smith had a 14 year old wife and married women who were already married: www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/10/27/mormon-joseph-smithteenbride_n_6054272.html You Mormon wives, you devil's whores! its CON! They lied about how he translated LDS history! Yes LDS lied not Jeremy. The history is so bad lol joe should have said he built a spaceship and flew to moon and sun to talk to sun people. Did not happen but LDS would have not told anyone he said that or did that. Hide history, delete, change, ignore. My statement is an example not actual history! My fiction story. Delwyn maybe English is not your first language. Obvious if you study what is going on. Rock seer stone is in SLC UTAH in locked vault. They pull them out from time to time. The problem is that the church doesn't teach that that's how he translated it wrote the BOM. They say and teach that Joseph translated the plates touching them, reading and translate them. That's how the movie about him and the restoration shows ND that's how missionaries teach it. If there's nothing wrong with the use of a stone and hat to write the book then why the church doesn't want people to know.

It is nice to know there is a group of people who also left the church. I left quitely and i honor my family who still pray for me to return. I started meditating and believing in multiple lives reincarnation many worlds, Heaven is so vast no need for Temples to do nonbelievers Temple work when we are all connected to the God of all creation and all living life on the earth, we keep coming back to earth or other planets to learn and grow our spirit selfs within a physical body wevwill come down as male and or female depending on what we want to experience sharing learning abd griwing together with each other we earn colors for our auric fields based on competition of our growth and development. Back to the Church If there were ever the Golden Plates there would be no reason for the church to hide them from the public its so silly if you actually have any intelligence. I wanted to create myself a license plate holder that said "SHOW ME THE PLATES" but didnt! My family says even the Elite will be deceived looking at me I say no the Elite wake up and move on 😂

I didn't know any thing about this letter until now. On one hand I can relate to things said. On the churches prospective you could understand how they may feel like their being torn down and can't support that.. We never knew Joseph Smith personally. Why not judge the church on the merits it offers now than digging up past dirt before our time?

So, he became an aetheist. Is that the answer? This is my real life experience I was raised in a protestant faith until Mormon missionaries found me and baptized me as a young man. I have continued to study other faiths for over thirty years and I have been amazed at all the anti-Mormon materials in print, film and on the internet. I am an inquisitive and practical soul so I have searched out the answers to the multitude of “problems” critics of the Mormon faith have claimed. After considering both sides, I cannot break loose of the Church’s hold on me because of the following reasons. (1) The Mormon Church has instilled in me, and my family a more deep and personal love of my Savior Jesus Christ than I could have reached in any other faith. I have a sure knowledge that He is my Savior and the only One through whom I can be saved. The Book of Mormon has added so much to the wonderful accounts of Him in the New Testament. The testimony and lives of good Mormons have led me to know that they are true followers of Christ. While I have met wonderful Christians in other faiths, none have stronger belief in the Savior than good Mormons. Help me! Where can I find something better? (2) The Mormons taught me that I am a child of God created in His image, and not just His creation. (Genesis 1:26 “And God said Let us make man in our image, after our likeness” The Trinity is The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost. Three separate Beings with one purpose. The other faiths taught me that God is one Being with three names, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost. And that He is a Spirit without form that fills the whole universe. While this sounds impressive, it would mean that He is only my Creator and not my Father in Heaven. I would be just one of His creations. For example, I can create a beautiful Corvette, and I would love it, but it can never compare with the love I have for my children. I know that my Father in Heaven is my Father in Heaven-and that is much more intimate and personal for me, than to love a Father who is an intangible Spirit - Creator, to whom I am just something He created. The net result is that my children and I have a much more personal relationship with God, and His Son, Jesus Christ. Where can I find something better? (3) Eternal Marriage and families - What an awesome demonstration of the love and Fatherhood of God. Mormons are the only faith that believes that God ordained the family as an Eternal unit. All other faiths teach that marriage ends at death. Because of this belief, Mormon families are the strongest (on average) of any people on Earth. I know from personal experience, that these teachings have helped me and my children to have stronger families in Christ. Where can I find something better? (4) The Church missionary system: The Mormon church offers a chance for my children to voluntarily serve as full time representatives of the Lord for two years. Every Christian religion says it believes Christ’s admonition to “feed My sheep” and share His Word, but, none, not even the Jehovah’s Witnesses have as good a means to make it a positive and life changing experience as the Mormons. I did this myself, and I know from personal experience that nothing can replace the experience, joy and testimony of Jesus Christ I received on my two year mission. I now know why the Bible emphasizes sharing His Word so much. Why do other faiths not promote programs like this for their members? Some offer “mission trips” lasting days or weeks, but this is only a pale shadow of the Mormons two year program. Some faiths have full time missionaries, but their numbers are so small compared to their membership, and they don’t encourage all their youth to go on missions. As many as half of Mormon youth go on missions. I have often said that it is worth being a Mormon just for the blessing of seeing my children have the two year mission experience when they are young. Where can I find something better? (5) The Mormon Health Code - Why don’t other faiths do this? I need help teaching my children to avoid alcohol, tobacco and drugs. All faiths believe the body is a temple, but none have as much success teaching their children to avoid unhealthy habits, as do the Mormons. It would be worth being a Mormon just to avoid the problems of seeing my children and grandchildren suffer from the effects of alcohol and drugs, not to mention tobacco. Where can I find something better? (6) Unpaid Ministry - Mormons don’t have to get paid to share the good news of Jesus Christ. I have always had a problem with ministers who would say, “ Give your money to God, but make the check out to me.” Mormon leaders of congregations (called bishops) have regular jobs. That is how they support themselves and they serve the congregation for free because they love the Lord. Mormons actually provide better support to each member of the congregation than faiths with paid preachers, because of the organization of visiting and home teachers, (also unpaid) that help the bishops check the welfare of every member every month! No other faith comes close to that service for the members, even with paid ministry. Even the two-year missionaries pay their own way. It works great. There is no reason other faiths could not do this too. Why don’t they? I love knowing that when I come to church, that they are glad to see me because they care about me, and not about what donations I might give them. Also, Mormons don’t have collection plates. Giving is personal and private and visitors are treated like guests. You would not invite a friend to dinner and then put a collection plate in his face and say “ Wasn’t that good?” Also, I have investigated the way the Church uses funds and it is inspiring. Where can I find something better? On top of all this, while opponents fuss that that false prophets lead us, the Bible clearly states repeatedly that it is through the Name of Jesus that we are saved. Virtually all other Christians believe that if we accept Christ as our Savior we are saved. By this standard, all Mormons are saved, even if we did have “false” prophets. I must say that if we are to judge prophets by their fruits, then I am really caught in this Mormon trap, because of all the wonderful “fruits” I have personally witnessed over the last thirty years. I could go on and on, but, the bottom line is that because of all the blessings and happiness I have received, I guess I am really stuck being a Mormon. Please help me if you know anything that is better. Scott Marshall MemphisBPC@aol.com

@@iamthegreatcornholio7836 I have a question for you, then. Just to give you a little bit of my own background, I recently had the honor of meeting with 4-6 very sincere young Mormon Missionaries for a few weeks. I was, I admit, surprised at some of the rules. Like, when I wanted to share some of my favorite hymns with them, it was not allowed. Similarly, it seems like they are not allowed even to contact friends or family except once a week. I literally knew someone in prison with more freedom, lol. The LDS church must not believe that these young men have the Holy Spirit, because we know from the Bible that "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom" rather than regulations. So, for you yourself, why do you think the LDS church might want to prohibit free research and extra knowledge? I myself would always welcome scrutiny.
