From what I read at that time, the reason his opponent was paid and Jeremy wasn’t was because he hurt the other guy during the push. Apparently, the unexpected push caused whiplash/neck injury preventing him from fighting, and the blame was on Jeremy.

I wouldn’t want to fight like that. + the ufc should be strict on that bs to avoid becoming like one of those cringe russian companies where every 2nd fight theres some pre fight drama

One of the true fighters in the UFC. He was not a competitor, he was a true fighter. This man looked like an apex predator in the cage treating his opponents like prey. Watching him walk Emmett down even after getting caught and trying to end the man’s life with elbow, Stephens is a BMF.

Jeremy is right on competitors vs. fighters. I can think of several in the UFC right now who are more competitor than fighter. They tend to resort to very disciplined moves and miss a lot of opportunities in a fight because they lack the killer instinct to be scrappy. Then you had someone like Wanderlei who will clinch and knee you, or Jones and Conor attacking your chin with their shoulder strike. Someone like Feodor who would sit upright to have the leverage to inflict ground and pound. Now you see competitors lay on someone for 2 minutes and have zero instincts to actually inflict damage, even when there is 10 seconds left on the clock because that is a safe competitor strategy lol.

Didn't Jeremy's opponent hurt his neck because he pushed him at the weigh ins and because he couldn't wait another 24 hours so the fight never took place? I might be wrong but I feel like he is withholding information. You don't get cut because you push someone at a press conference or weigh in.

Rampage talking about sinking when he's in water. I feel that, I'm the same😂 I used to do swimming lessons in year 6 and got good at swimming. I went to butlins with my family in year 7. My brother asked if I could swim so I said yes, he threw me in the deepend and I started sinking.. he had to jump in and save my ass🫣🤣🤣🤣
