imagine laying in your favorite spot-a field of grass with the breeze dancing and the sun touching your skin, or engulfed in a pillowy duvet with the morning light streaming through the blinds. you have your headphones on to drown out miscellaneous noise, and you pull up ‘jeremy zucker - love is not dying (full album spectrogram). 0:00 you inhale the aroma of sweet roses. “still” fades into your ears and you exhale. you close your eyes and let the sound seep into your mind; it’s pitch black and all you can see are your thoughts floating amidst the static darkness. and soon, the spectrogram appears, moving with the music like waves in the ocean. left, middle, right. as each song plays, you don’t realize when the next begins or ends. it feels like one continuous, beautiful track. --- and just like that, you’re transported to another reality. a universe of only you and jeremy zucker’s vocals enveloping you in a comforting hug. you walk along the starlit path, one foot in front of the other. buzzing of guitars, thumping of drums, twinkling of piano share the same frequency as your heartbeat. (even the louder volume parts of songs fills your entire being, and you become the music.) you’re daydreaming almost. the end of the road leads you back into your room, or the grassy field. the last beat of the album causes the spectrogram to flicker. 37:16. you open your eyes. you meet gaze with the ceiling or the frosted sky. you take out your headphones and breathe. you didn’t realize you were holding your breath. you start to feel the world again, your numbness is wearing off. love is not dying will be forever imprinted in your mind, bringing you back to the stars whenever you listen to it. -

I feel like this whole album reflects on the boundless dimensions and complexity of our emotions, specifically its parallelity to space. And the way Jeremy uses his musicality to create a sensory experience transcends the human body never fails to amaze me. Each piece was created in a way that would touch our souls. One might make us feel like we are literally freely floating in space, another might makes us feel grounded to the Earth. This album is more than just a masterpiece. It's an intense but compelling paragon of mesmerizing musical artistry on the complexity of raw human emotion. His lyricism, understanding of sensory sounds, and musicality create an empathetic journey for all of us to experience. And it's truly a euphoric feeling. We feel connected. And as we begin to unravel his own complex emotions as the album progresses, we start to draw parallels to our own lives and catch a glimpse into his own. I'm completely blown away. Thank you, Jeremy, for sharing this with us.

For people who are interested on what the graph thing in the middle is: it’s called a spectrogram and it basically shows wavelengths correlating to the music. The higher it gets, the higher the amplitude is (the sound/volume). The shorter the wave gets horizontally, the lower the frequency is (pitch). Really good visualization for what you’re hearing ☺️🤓

listening this with the volume all the way up feels euphoric. the vibration from my headphones can be felt to my fingertips. it leaves no space for too much else. the whole world seems to fade away as all you can hear is the sound of something beautiful. it makes you think about things you don’t know if you should think about but you can’t seem to care. i can close my eyes and just feel relaxed and free. it’s beautiful. it feels like an out of body experience and i don’t know how to explain the numbness that takes over as i lose myself in your words. i haven’t felt this way in a long time and i’m addicted.

The other night when I was up late I sat in my room, door closed, lights off, smoked a bowl of weed and found myself lost within every song. Maybe its cause I've been enjoying your music for years now.maybe its because we're both Pisces. Maybe its because you've lived in Colorado . Maybe its because I was depressed that night and somehow you nearly stitched up the void that was weighing in my body. My only regret was not seeing you and Lauv in concert back 3-4yrs ago in February. At least you're songs heal my wounds in a way that others wouldn't understand. Thank you.

It's interesting to see how everyone experiences and feels different things when listening to a song. While some may say "I want to hear this song at my wedding," others may hate it, because they only think of their ex and the feelings that were once there. I guess what I'm trying to say is that music is wonderful, and brings out emotions not everyone or everything can.
