@@JeremyAKnight again thank you Jeremy. We are looking to get out of California in about 4 years time. My dream would be in two Latitudes by Jimmy Buffet and Minto Builders. There was an article about 6 months ago placing Austin is one of the new locations for latitudes. Since I want to be one of the first ones in this 55 plus community I'm hoping that it won't be built until 4 or 5 years from now. Now with the woods shortage I think everything is going to slow down so we'll see what happens. But my biggest fear is your property tax. Will Mintos / Jimmy be able to change that? And believe me we will not be bringing California attitudes with us. I have a friend in Sunset Texas . Got to spend a week there last summer and had a fantastic time seeing the sights everywhere. I had to laugh when she said this is Texas traffic it was so light can you guys say it's so heavy. We are planning to spend another week September 2021 if everything goes as planned with herd immunity. We want to come see your Texas State Fair. So we'll see what happens in the next four or five years keep up your hard work explaining how Texas works we enjoy learning about it and keeping our fingers crossed for our future. Great video. He makes a great point about property taxes. ALWAYS Ask you realtor or look it up- what the tax rate is. Sadly, I have seen numerous mortgage LO's deliberately misrepresent the tax rate to make their "offer" seem better based upon a lower monthly payment. Yes, people should know better but some fall for this and get the "bump" at closing. Get several mortgage quotes and immediately disqualify anyone who fudges the tax numbers on your escrows.

But the ridiculousness of taxes in the Austin area has prevented our move.
