Hey, getting really close. But not going to be easy the rest of the way looks like. By the way, my son and I took pictures by the Ride More sticker on the sign in New Mexico and at the bottom of Engineers Pass in Co.

Haha Awesome! Thanks so much! You are the first to take pictures with them! That is so cool! I would love to see the pictures you took, and if you wouldn't mind, I could post them on my social media sites! If not, I'd still love to see the pics myself! Haha Message me on Facebook! :)

I run a klx 650r. Take an extra gallon in a can strapped to the seat. Refuel at the last gas station. Put it in the tank when I hit the dirt. Also get spare cables like clutch and throttle and zip tie them on , routed through next to the existing ones, ready to just hook up if you break one. Carry spare chain link joiner, spare tube and puncture kit. You could carry a spare clutch lever but I run massive bark busters and a few bolts. An extra 600ml plastic drink bottle full of fuel hidden away. Got me that 10mile To fuel station once , it would have been a long walk pushing the bike in the middle of the night.

When we came by the turnoff for that last red section you are in last month, the single bar yellow gate was locked across the road. Same as the gate by the creek crossing about 14 miles out of Glendale, luckily there someone had figured out a nice bypass that required removing panniers from the bikes but better than backtracking 14 miles to the green route.

I love that you guys are doing this whole trip on the cheap, you don't need a decked out top of the line bike with the most expensive gear to have an adventure! A Powerade bottle or two works great for a little short term extra gas storage;)

WOW, bin there done that. lol. From an old guy too you. If your going on these type of trails, bring a cutter/saw and if it comes down to sharing the gas to one bike is your next step, I have always had a 5 foot gas hose in my bag, has it helped me over the years. Just saying

This trail looks like a blast. I live born and raised about 20 miles from the last leg. I have seen many bikes over the years coming through. Had no idea it was what it is. I recently bought a dual sport just for this type of ride. Btw ,those are not moose tracks! Roosevelt elk are our large animals in this part of oregon

Those trees were knocked down by the bigfoot. They get upset over deforestation. Oh... umm, riding the Balsam Mountain Rd in north carolina in a thunderstorm 2 harleys and 1 ktm super adventure. Only about 21 miles off rocky roads but the rain and wetness made it interesting. The rest of the ride down the blue ridge parkway was pretty sweet too. A storm passed thru on us we hid in a tunnel until it calmed down and we could actually see again. This was all in early August 2018.

Wow this back wooding it is something eles and I thought my 2000 miles motorcycle run was alot just from Michigan to New Mexico that's one way we did round trip and I remember we were going through off major roads in Colorado bad idea we ran out of gas pretty much in this little town with no gas stations instead they whole community had these card's and there were gas pumps on this ancre or so of land and those people used these cards to get gas, the strangest thing ever. So we gave this kid $20.00 to get us card and our bikes only held what a few gallons if that so he made out ahead but it was so worth it to us, we continued on and made sure we had a better idea of where we were and how far a city was after that. Good time's this was back in 2007,I can't ride like that no more due to neck and back injury so I enjoyed watching this and going to check out the others.

Or a smaller bike that can easily hop the fallen trees. These big adventure bikes are great for long highway trips to get to the trails, but they're behemoths off road. I'd hate to have to be so cautious because of all the weight of the bike.

Great adventure you guys are having. If the saw teeth are sharp and set correctly, it is easier to saw through the trees than to chop through. Now, I can't wait to see the next Episode. BTW, I did a cross country trip in 1975(in a 1965 Nova Wagon). It is still one of my favorite memories. Good Luck
