Blender in many aspect has surpassed many of the so called professional 3d suites like Autodesk in fact several professional studio use blender over the other options it also helps that blender is constantly getting better constantly upgraded

I think what makes part of this so great is that it doesn't feel the need to take itself seriously, especially for a genre where spy films all seem to play out the same (which is probably why they lost a lot of steam). We need more people with fresh takes and unexpected spins in an industry that has become too content with recycling the same motions, no matter how strange of an idea it may be. I'm so glad it got you your job, and I'm even more glad that you're continuing to pursue creative expression instead of being content. Really excited for this!

Animations like the original Box Assassin inspired me to become an animator and study to get into the industry. I’m sorry to hear what you went through with the big companies. It’s a real shame what’s going on in the industry. But projects like these with community support give me hope that the Animation industry will bounce back. I think the biggest question for which the answer will only really become apparent after an episode or two is how to keep the whole premise of a guy killing people through boxes to stay fresh and interesting. It works very well for a student short film where the stakes are immediate and so is the resolution, but in a series you can't pull the same trick too many times in a row.
