That's 250 down from Boris Johnson's landslide victory in 2019 and 45 fewer than when John Major was thrashed by Tony Blair in 1997.
And some major Tory figures were given the chop by voters, including a record 11 cabinet ministers.

I blame truely awful policies, that put the people at a very distant third place. First place, was certainly the politicians and their families.
