King Charles and Queen Camilla will begin a six-day tour of Australia on Friday.
It's his first visit to the Commonwealth realm since becoming their head of state and his biggest trip since his cancer diagnosis.
However, six major Australian politicians have reportedly snubbed a reception for the King and Queen.
It's mostly due to scheduling conflicts, but royalists in the country have dubbed it a 'monumental insult' and a 'slap in the face'.
Meanwhile, anti-monarchists have called this the King's 'farewell tour' amid calls for Australia to become a republic.

Having a president is far more cost-effective, as taxpayers generally only cover the president's salary and security. In contrast, maintaining a monarchy involves supporting not just the King and Queen, but also their children, siblings, nephews, nieces, and essentially the entire royal family. The financial burden extends to the whole clan! It's unbelievable! Wake up people!

And in terms of polling changing in the refrendum, if the VOICE refrendum is anything to go by left wing supported causes generally lose votes once campaign has begun. Before the campaign Voice had 60+ support in most states and after the campaign it lost in all, even in Victoria! Lets see if the polling changes after the tour, if history is anything to judge by polling goes up after appearance by the RF.

It's not about the Commonwealth, it's about him being head of state for some of those countries. That's the issue. Charles didn't automatically become the head of the Commonwealth, the Queen has to ask the countries if he could continue on his behalf. Again the issue is him being the Head of State for about 14 of them, including my country, Canada.

Any money that is given to india is via western backed NGOs which hopefully the Indian government will kick out soon.
