Sweet Jeri, you are not alone. I've learned through counseling and research that abuse and trauma usually leads to a list of health and intimacy issues. Trauma puts the body into a state of fight or flight and if not addressed early on, it starts to mess with our metabolism and immune system😕. It's not your fault. Healing starts with talking about it and having a trained therapist guide you through the process. Sending love back your way~Sophia

I check in once in awhile on your channel and get tips or just see how things are going. I’m kinda a neighbor as I live in Iowa! Anyone that has depressing comments are in need of something no one can give them, but I want people to know that along with going and buying and baking, crafting, decorating, doing holidays, etc. is a lot. But on top of that, imagine filming, refilling, using the camera making sure audio is ok, then editing all of it along with all of KZbin’s rules is not an unmotivated or lazy individual. You live life the best you can and I think you’re wonderful and perfect the way you are! (Except for cancer, a disease that gives no f--s who you are or what shape, or age.) None of us are making it out alive so live everyday like it’s your last!! And f evil minded trolls that will get theirs in the end! You are an inspiration and you GO GIRL!!!!!

Wow, I know I’m going backwards, but these comments are really bringing warmth to my heart. Thank you for understanding and thank you for getting it. I don’t think that the average selfish person gets what kind of work goes into a free video for them. It costs money, time, and(these days well priceless) energy!

@@nelliehagen5267 ugh she is ALWAYS in need of empathy. I can't not empathize with a person constantly seeking pity but doing nothing to improve things for herself. ONLY she can change her life, improve it, improve her health, but she simply doesn't. I have empathy for those that try & I support them anyway I can. But neither her or her husband try. They just blame & look for pity & become very abusive when called out.

There are countless women, men, children sharing their battles with cancer on KZbin. It's all so dreadfully heartbreaking. The horrors they face make me doubt Jerri even has cancer.

She needs to stop using excuses & start helping herself. She needs to lose weight, she needs to physically move. She needs to take responsibility. She needs to tell the truth about her cancer, if she has it at all.

Jeri Ann are you sure it's a good idea to be moving across country when your so sick. You already have the doctors there. You have a roof over your head. You have half way decent food. And you know the area there. Jim also could get another part time job. He could put money away than when your gone! He could pack up and go to wherever he wants to go. You need to be 100 percent truthful with him about moving.. Is it for you or him? You need to reach for that extra mile and do it. Think of your Dad he would want the best for you! Thumbs up

@@ancienttways What's sick about it? She's not whinging! She's explaining what she's going through. Her own feelings not somebody else's. It is different when your body is a certain way. It could be from being over weight. It could be from being sick with a major illness and it could be from being sexual abused as a child! Not everyone wants to have sex when they feel like crap. And when you finely get the message that your body isn't doing what your mind wants. Be it sex or something else! You have to deal with it. Sometimes it hits some people hard. This is Jeri Ann's story.

@@whatmyohmy also she has NEVER done anything to help her body, not with her arthritis, not with diabetes, that she's had for over a decade, & not even now with her supposed cancer . Losing weight would help with all her issues but does she do it ? Nope, far easier to just become an even greater burden on a husband whose mental health is very weak & cry about his not wanting to have sex with her.

If JA was concerned about her "major illness" then why hasn't she been on ANY cancer treatment for almost a year? She blames her bed sores that she got from spending so much time in bed. Supposedly she has too many tumors to count on her spine but can drive to NY and back among other things. Why move across country for another cancer Dr when she's not listening to the one she has now? Instead of being worried about her stage 4 cancer...she's worried about menopause and her sex life. SMH!

I cannot believe some of these comments. Shame on all of you to pass judgement on anyone. It's real easy to tell someone what to do, etc. when it's not your life or issue. Bravo to all you people who are perfect! There's something on the internet you can do instead of being cruel and a cyber bully. It's called SCROLLING. Not only will I pray for Jeri-Ann, but I'll pray or all of the people that think they know how she feels and what she should do! God Bless you Jeri-Anne. I admire your strength and vulnerability.

You know what alot of the comments in this video just made me sick!! Reason is because I get so tired of reading the cruel comments that people make ESPECIALLY under a video of this magnitude. Millions have cancer, millions have ALOT of ailments and alot of people have issues of many levels....that is ALL true BUT everyone is affected differently on every one of those levels and who in the hell are we as a society to judge people on their damn illness, body looks, hormones and even worse their inner feelings?? This lady has F....G cancer and that in itself is scary as hell I am sure without even putting anything else with it. If people do NOT like a person, subject or whatever on a channel then move ON and do YOU but stop tearing others down because it makes you look very stupid no matter how good e feel doing it. I KNOW what it's like living with someone who has cancer and they are all over the place alot due to treatment, inner feelings, trying to deal with past issues, fear, anger, etc. This is the journey of the lady making this video and she is reaching out to express herself and possibly might help someone else who is going through the same or similar.....this is NOT your platform and if you want to talk trash about others then start your platform and invite all the other scum of society and you guys have a great time downing others BUT STOP going onti others platforms and inserting your bullshit. Adult bullies are ridiculous and you will be judged for this one day remember that. Have you ever thought that sometimes people have NOBODY to discuss things with or bounce things off of others except here? Therefore they talk to their friends.....or so they think. I had a stroke at 49 years old and thought about doing a channel in order to make friends with people because I was such a workaholic that I had no friends as well as let people follow me on my new journey as my life was completely changed as I I was just born with no past but I haven't because of the nasty cruel people just like the ones leaving negative comments here. Sometimes you can't talk to your husband because let's face it....he doesn't totally understand and will just want to fix it versus just listening. Sorry for being so blunt but I just get tired of the elite of this society always downing others for whatever. Nobody is any better than the next even if their lives appear perfect....they are NOT and that's why they do this shit.

@@JeriAnnHenson you are very welcome. My husband has cancer and I see him trying to quietly deal with stuff because as we all know alot of times when the tough gets going your friends get gone. The comment about you faking it is what made me just let it out. I am sorry for coming off so ugly but at times it seems like some don't get it any other way. I really appreciate you putting it all out there because I am sure there is someone else in somewhat the same boat and could relate but too afraid to ask on social media. I keep you in my prayers and hopefully you will beat this monster we call cancer.

I need prayers im going to have my ileostomy reversed September 1 dr said it was time i been not feeling well the past month through test and everything dr said it is time to do something so here i go through this months more test and alot to go through

Jeri, the journey you have been on, for the last few years is a hard one mentally, physically and emotionally. I pray that, as you heal, physically, God grant you the strength emotionally, and mentally to allow yourself to heal in all ways. Feel better. Menopause menopause menopause. Find a dr that will test your hormones and compound a prescription for you. It will help with all of it.

Pfft it didn't take courage, it took a selfish desire to belittle her husband, there are some parts of marriage that should be private. She really can't love him at all if she's willing to expose their sex life. This women has no boundaries.

I’m really not sure how you feel like this video belittles my husband because it doesn’t have anything to do with his behavior. It’s just me versus my body. And I’m not exposing our sex life. I’m supposing my relationship between me and my body and trust me I have a lot of boundaries because there is so much more I could say to you right now, but I choose not to because I’m an adult.

@@ancienttways, what on earth is wrong with you? Jeri-Ann uttered not one word of invective towards Jim. This ten-minute video was a courageous and personal discussion about Jeri-Ann’s love/hate relationship with her body and is also very insightful. Not everyone can recognise that he or she resents his or her body for growing cancer. Jeri-Ann deserves the highest form of praise and respect for this video.

@@karyn3341 there is something wrong in sharing a story, of such a personal nature, that involves ur spouse. It's a betrayal & no matter how many of U try to defend it, it doesn't change the fact that she has no right to expose anything about her marital relationship. It's NOT just her marriage, it's their marriage. How would she feel if Jim decides to post a video about the reasons his no longer attracted to her .. & really with all her supposed health issues, the thing that's really upsetting her is the lack of sex ? She's insane.
