i would not say there is a right or wrong way to work any bait. This way just works for me...

Just be aware that the depths manufacturer say they go are never accurate. They won't go near as deep as they claim, even with very light sinking flouro line. Same with most cranks unless you troll a huple hundred feet back. I use Livescope to verify actual depths.

@@ZZ430T56 thank you. I feel like the ones that dive deeper have the advantage of being driven deep or kinda half way it. Well I guess they all do but they don't all dive deep. So far unimpressed with the bps one. Didn't seem to dive deeper than 3-4 feet. Will try it again soon.

I love a jerkbait when I can get em to work for me. The few fish I have caught on em really would slam it. I use the Stunna and a few others like the KVD that goes to 11 feet and also the Rapela Shad Rap and Husky Jerk. I just haven't mastered the technique yet.
