I love it, this game is awesome, it delivers on every thing, game play, immersion,, story,tactics,game mechanics, the awesome awesome drawing style, meme potential...etc, the general lovecraftian atmosphere, the narration sounds like a story from H.P Lovecraft, the monsters , its one of the few games that understands love craft and apply it right.

The main thing is that he seems to have zeroed in on the way to do well surprisingly fast. This game is all about risk assessment and target prioritization. The necromancer fight is a great example. Crits aside, he handled it perfectly.

I have spent 10,000 years playing Darkest Dungeon. Every class is useful. Journal Pages are good to get, because once you get them all they stop showing up instead of other random loot. You should search most curios and use a hero with resistance to what it does, rarely use items on them. Torches, food, shovels always. Bring extra food to get off death's door. Lock in useful traits at low levels. Attack the backline first. Attack tanks last, except to stun.
