But it is though! It only gets even _funnier!_ What? Are they saying Jerma’s streams are often disappointing?” But then, after really trying to analyze this by rereading OP’s and your comment and finally comprehending the meaning, I’d say I have some mixed feelings about your comment, On one hand, I absolutely agree that high expectations are a major set up for disappointment (after all, it’s the whole reason why the term “overrated” even exists, because of people getting surprised by just how good something turned out to be that they keep on talking about how that thing is amazing and better than they could’ve hoped, then people who hear this get these vague ideas in their head about something unimaginably good and the disappointment is practically inevitable at that point. It’s not that something’s bad, it’s that people overhyped it cause of how good it originally seemed from their first time, lacking in high expectations kind of perspective,) it’s far better to expect practically nothing since it makes you feel even stronger emotions when anything hilarious actually happens, On the other hand, I’d argue that you could’ve elaborated on this in a way that makes this clearly sound like more general life advice, cause every single Jerma AI roleplaying stream (maybe even the majority of Jerma’s streams in general, cause, to me,!him and his chat can somehow make anything funny) is so insanely funny that I can barely breathe laughing so hard during some moments. But maybe people should take this advice when witnessing media that’s not _as_ advanced as the Jerma specimen, specifically brought into this world to be the perfect e-clown, as he was made to be hard to match or beat But for me, I know I learned from a young age (maybe during middle school, when my anxiety suddenly got 1000x worse and I realized I didn’t want to let myself feel let down ever, wanted to always be in awe of good things, so I’m always a little skeptical and keep expectations way below the limbo bar to stay grounded in reality) to make sure my personal high expectations go low enough that even the things I had high expectations for can surpass those expectations! Especially with Jerma streams lmao, always much funnier than I expect
