JD is such a wonderful human being , professional, such a lovely guy who really appreciates not just signing for a club but understanding what it means to fans, the canteen lady, the admin staff and even the program sellers. what he did for that little boy Bradley who died and his family puts him at the top of any player of the year, FIFA player of the year the list goes on... when you have a great heart and you treat people the same way you want to be treated yourself it dosent matter what level of society - this man is number one. an incredible role model for all and not just young people but for all. cheers for putting reality into perspective no matter what walk of life you are from. the ultimate role model (daniel saints fan who now lives in canada)

I always liked JD growing up. I thought he was a fantastic player and seemed to score every week watching on M.O.T.D. I really took an interest in him at sunderland when he helped wee Bradley's family in their time of need. When he signed for us, I was delighted to have a player of his quality and professionalism at my club. What an impact he had on our squad, the youngsters will have learned so much from him. And that goal against Livi was something special. The way he had to hold the tears back when he scored Vs Them, told me he got what it meant to us, and what it meant to be a Ranger. Gutted when it was announced he had left. Hope he gets another League medal at the end of the season, dont know if he has played enough though to be awarded one. Needs to be there for the last day trophy presentation anyway, the club should definitely invite him up for it. We can give him the send of he deserves then.
