Wins at all three levels, attached to Joe Burrow, has Jordan battle on the team (Bama teammate who can hopefully keep his head on straight), and with Boyd leaving and Higgins seemingly only there for this next season; he has a clear path to being the WR3 as a rookie and if he take a step forward, the WR2 as a sophomore. Very interesting to see what happens

Burton is one of 3 COMPLETE receivers in this draft after Harrison and Nabers. You can place him anywhere X, Y, Z, he can play any spot. On tape, he isn't a 2nd rounder. On tape, he's a first round WR. The problem is the other stuff.

He'll have to find a fit in a VERY talented WR room. But he's worked with TJ Housh for quite a while now, and Jordan Battle (an Alabama team leader the year before last) is available for a consult on his alleged locker room/maturity issues. Bengals made this pick with better info than most.

The thing I find most interesting is how he has a direct path to being a focal point of the offense. This year he produces like a regular rookie in the WR3 spot, then when Higgins (probably) leaves in FA, he takes a sophomore step forward and fits into the WR2 spot

Higgins replacement. Chuck Sizzle is in the slot/Boyd. He will play very little 3 receiver sets with Chase and Tee. Next year starter when Tee is gone.

Baker or Burton is a good debate. I like Baker but it's I think he goes after Burton. Burton seems to have that easy speed big play ability like some of the best in NFL. As a Bengals fan I preffer to root for Tee over Chase because the way he carries him self. Chase is great & I love him on the team I just wish his spotsmanship was closer to what I would teach kids.

Nawh bruh. Button is starting as wide out #3. Now Yoshi is going to get off as well as Jones and Irwin. But make no mistake about it, Jermaine Burton is going to make a big difference in our offense. Our tight ends have gotten more explosive too. Gesicki is going to command attention too. We have a whole lot more speed at both positions than previous seasons. Our offensive line is rock solid. It is game on.

No way man. With Boyd leaving he was picked for this very reason as well as him being a steal in the third round. We have a real talented receiving core but Burton is special. Only injury would keep him from starting day one. Just watch and see😳👀
