Technique beats youth. the right technique and strategy would have beaten Charlo. Look at Shane Mosely, Bernard Hopkins and James Toney. All fighters who fought past their primes and were still champions. The older you get the more technical you have to be.

K-9's punch resistance is completely gone. He got knocked down by a jab. As for Charlo he needs to move up to 160. The guy is a HUGE Jr. Middle. He has fought above 154 in many of his fights. In this fight he looks bigger than many of the guys at 160. I'd like to see Charlo fight Lara or Alvarez in 2016.

My trainer tries to teach me the same thing and i find it a mistake too , i think coaches try to prepare the fighter in a safe way not engaging to the body or moving inside at all . My conclusion is , If you don't go there to fight you are not gonna do something fighting safe and look how easy he lost because you can't fight a taller guy reach on reach , you need to go forward .

jermall for sure had electric power at 154, but im interested to see how his power is at 160, not to discredit him as i think he is one of the top fighters in the sport right now, but i thought that he never really hurt heiland, i thought that the fight was stopped because heiland had a bad leg.
