The best part about this is it gives parity between the enemy and the player. The bathroom is also a spot the player can hide in, and it's a strat to lure Jimmy into a room while hiding in the bathroom, and while he's searching by the wardrobe you sprint out the room and lock Jimmy in. I love how the devs made Jimmy pull tricks like this and not just be a chase type enemy (although he does spend like half the time chasing the player rather than trying to ambush), a clever enemy in these games is much more threatening than a big scary strong one. Sometimes you get both, like the xenomorph from Alien Isolation, but they're few and far between.

I don’t know if you are going to see this, but the meaning of this game is that in the very beginning you have to go to all the rooms on floor 1 to find items before you go to the lower ground. Jimmy won’t be active before you see the first ghost, so then it’s best to find all items. Everytime when you see a ghost appearance you can talk to them, not before

It's not obvious where the compass is to be fair. The thing that gets me is he finds 'store room key', gets to the locked store room 2 minutes later and asks 'how do I open this?'. Or he finds 'key for 1st floor stairs', someone says he needs to go to the stairs a few minutes later and he says 'oh the stairs are locked'. Or he goes a store room, ignores the cursor turning into a straight arrow, and says 'what that's it?' and then turns around and leaves. Like, this is expected for Jerma, but it's so damn frustrating to watch sometimes lol

This reminds me somewhat of an old point-and-click horror game called "Amber: Journeys Beyond" where you'd explore an old house trying to communicate with spirits to solve a murder. I never beat it as a kid (wasn't good at those games then) but I remember the atmosphere being excellent, it scared the crap out of me.
