@@robkline1799 Let's get one thing straight: Metallica is Trujillo's side-project. I am still waiting for him to return to Suicidal Tendencies along with Rocky George and RJ Herrera (although that will never happen). He has been recently playing in Infectious Grooves again, although Mike Muir created Infectious Grooves around Trujillo's bass playing so he could never be replaced there. But Ozzy got Trujillo and then Jerry Cantrell got Trujillo all before Metallica got him. So in a sense, he's returning home, or to one of his homes. I am surprised that Mike Bordin isn't playing on drums again. I wonder what's been happening with him? I wouldn't be surprised if he's retired. Drumming for heavy metal bands for over 40 years, going back to Trauma with Big Jim Martin and Cliff Burton would have been very taxing on his body.

@@kskip4242It’ll be his own harmonies. Jerry was the architect of the vocal layering. I love Layne but he gets a lot of credit for creating the AiC Dirt onwards sounds but it was more Jerry. If you listen to Above by Mad Season which is one of my favourite albums of all time vocally its completely different to AiC.

Greg puciato maybe. He sang and harmonised really cool with Jerry on the Brighten tour incredible. I love how these lyrics drop the mention of AI... How media use it to screw over musicians with false sounds and images... Vilifying.... Yeah these harmonies are beautiful and Layne would be nodding his head in agreement with this masterpiece. 💕🎼

It's probably all Jerry----After all, he's capable of doing all kinds of voices, from falsetto to a very deep, heavy voice, and everything in between. (For example: "Breaks My Back" on Boggy Depot).
