Yeah that Les Paul is from Degradation Trip. He used to put cigarettes out on it and that's where all the spots are from. I met him during that tour and got his autograph and stood right in front of him while he played that Les Paul. Degradation Trip was incredible. Psychotic Break is probably my favorite song from it.

What you're probably hearing is what you THINK was Layne. In his Gibson Legends interview, right here on YT, Mr. Cantrell explains that a lot of times on the AiC records the vocals people think are Layne are actually Jerry and vice versa. Their voices were/are a lot more similar than most people realize and Jerry does not get the credit he deserves for his vocal performances in AiC, especially towards the end when he was basically carrying Layne. No offense, and I hope I didn't ruin your enjoyment of this song or AiC, I just wanted to point that out as I find it very interesting - and I feel it's somewhat important to set the record straight on this.
