I think the funniest part of this is that Sinatra's career outlasted his initial image by so long that the parody of portraying him as a walking toothpick doesn't even make sense from a modern perspective.

Sinatra tried suing a couple of times. I remember reading that he ended up just letting it drop and would just laugh at them when they would pop up. Bing also sued quite a few times for caricatures in his likeness, but was a lot more furious than Sinatra ever was. As far as I know Bing was always unsuccessful whenever he tried to sue the Cartoon studios.

For Warner Bros. I knew they made two cartoons with his likeness in an unflattering manner that made him sue them but lost the case: Bingo Crosybana and Let It Be Me,. It wouldn't hurt Bing Crosby's repition, though, as his career was squeaky clean.

If you look up pictures of a young Frank Sinatra, the person the caricatures are modeled after, he looks very thin. I’m guessing his angular face and high cheekbones, plus overall bony look had a lot to do with it.
