I went to both shows this night.. In fact most of the time JGB came to the Capitol there was an early and late show which for many of us was just a really long single show with a nice break between sets!! We would all pile into the old Heidleberg Bar behind the Capitol between shows!! Great memories. Thanks for posting this and please keep doing so.

Thank you Voo !!! The sacred vault has opened up to you for sure.... what a public service you are providing to us all.... this past week has been extraordinary with all of these new JGB shows ~ to watch these recent uploads, and hear the "Promontory Rider" ...(which I first heard as filler on one of my first GD bootlegs cassettes in 1981) is amazing. Who knew 34 years later - Voodoonola would play the same role as the cool older Brother, with all of the good recordings, and share Jerry's music with the world....but now through videos on KZbin!!! I never knew how happy Jerry looked back then. What a treat to see him sway & smile so much. It's no secret that he liked playing with his "bar band" more than his role in the GD by now ..and you can just feel the joy in his performance, a man in his natural element, playing freestyle, improvising, and working his magic.... expressing himself in that signature /original sound he created ....What a legacy of LOVE he left us all to still share, and relish in..... GOD bless you Voo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The sound quality and video quality are just out of this world, as well as the band's performance on this tour. Read up on the drummer, Johnny D's, history, if you can find it. Interesting tale. The kid learned to play drums just hanging out in Mickey's barn. He did not live long past these shows.
