I've been listening to a lot of Jerry interviews lately. His speaking is like his playing. It doesn't get repetitious. He is always creating.

These JGB, Dead and Jerry interviews are precious and Jerry is a national treasure... Hippiness is cool thing in these recordings. Jerry never considered himself a hippy but rather a beatnik... I find that interesting. This particular interview was from Rochester. The very next day Jerry, Donna and John were in Providence for interview there preceding the March 11 concert in Pawtucket.

Yes, I have heard the Providence interview as well, it was at WBRU, Brown University's student run commercial radio station. Glad to hear this Rochester one too (-:

I may listen again just to check this point. I think he was apologizing to the radio station for saying that people are living together.

I definitely grew up crushing on Donna. I was born in 1977 so she was long gone from the band by the time I got in the bus but I was big into collecting shows and as much as I didn’t generally like country music at the time, listening to her sing “You Ain’t Woman Enough to Take My Man” always got me. She was absolutely stunning.

Rain is a beautiful song. Reminds me of a girl I used to know many years ago.
