very clever... He really could fix anything; even the effects of time on himself. interesting story; that was a perfectly (and by that I mean correctly constructed) 3 act story (the origins of the protagonist, the struggle, the conquering and resolution), *and sweet goodness, an actual satisfying ending without one of this cliche' cliffhanger decide for yourself nonsense.* Very good story and very good narration.

Is that a thing? Jerry rig is a common term used for decades for fixing something so it kind of works- like duct tape on an exhaust pipe or something. Whatever you guys are talking about is some KZbin or whatever influence using a common term for what he does. I’m 35 tho guess I’m just old. This kind of reminds me of when This girl I knew heard queens under pressure and said “why does this sound like ice ice baby?” She had it backwards, so do you guys. The phrase was before whatever person you are speaking of.

If you can hold out long enough through the child abuse after he has a stroke, eventually he becomes senile and starts treating you and your mother 'nicer'...but only because he cant remember much of who he is, or who you both are for that matter.

One of my favorites .. Wow amazed
@masterofthecoop6 жыл бұрын
I have to appreciate just how clever the name of the piece is. It took me a second after hearing it and rolling it around in my head. Jury and Jerry rigging means to make a quick and cheap fix that often doesn't last long but just long enough to get home for a proper repair. The main antagonist reminds me of a trickster, straight out of a Grimms fairytale. My first impression was that it was either Death, or the devil himself come to trick him out of his soul, playing on his hubris of always coming out on top " Nothing I can't fix " is a pretty big rep to guard, and what wouldn't he do in his desperation to do so? or come to claim it after doing the terrible deed the narrator said he did. He was still tricked into doing those deeds and his hubris was taught a harsh lesson but fortunately turned the tables and in the end, bounced the nasty trick that the antagonist pulled right into his face. A very clever and well done story

Jerry doesn't seem like a bad guy even after acquiring the pocket watch, just someone with talent who was manipulated. It's my opinion that despite its unethical methods of keeping him alive, he's doing this so that he can keep fixing things forever and ultimately undo the harm he had caused. It may not be pretty, but it's a net good and I think Jerry knows that.
