Jerry Seinfeld and Michael Richards reunite! The 'Seinfeld' co-stars hit the red carpet for the premiere of Jerry's film directorial debut, 'Unfrosted,' out on Netflix May 3. Michael, who played Cosmo Kramer on the long-running sitcom, makes a rare appearance to support his friend after staying out of the public eye for nearly 8 years. Michael is set to release his upcoming memoir, 'Entrances and Exits,' which hits bookshelves June 4.

Everyone makes mistakes. He had a racist moment years ago. Maybe he was a racist. Maybe he still is. The point is that he apologized. He knew he was wrong. He admitted it. The question is... Can you forgive him? I do. I did years ago. He was punished. He deserved repremanding. He got it. Time served. Leave the man alone. God bless anyone who goes through any racist anything and comes out better for it. Let's pray we all are and do. It's great to see you out and alive, Michael Richard's. Peace out.

The uproar around Michael Richards’ infamous comedy club incident is a gross overreaction, weaponized by ideological crusaders who aim to police cultural expression. Comedy is an art form designed to push boundaries and provoke thought, and occasionally it offends. Richards was viciously heckled while performing-his workplace-and his reaction, though regrettable, was a direct response to being intellectually attacked during his act. Will we defend an artist’s right to push boundaries and recover from mistakes, or will we let ideologues set the limits of our cultural dialogue?
