Jerry Stiller as Frank Costanza Seinfeld tribute.
With a career lasting over 50 years, Jerry Stiller was a staple of comedy, both on stage and screen. Half of comedy duo with his wife Anne Meara, Stiller & Meara, the pair made frequent appearances on late night shows and TV specials starting in the 60's.
Most likely his most notable performance was of Frank Costanza on the hit show Seinfeld.
A small tribute showcasing why he made the character so iconic.

@markassbusta It was Jerry's suggestion his character be played as more combative when originally the character was more docile. He was right and the rest is history.

@markassbusta Thank you, I couldn't think of his name. I think what started out as a small side role turned into a favorite character. Jerry managed to do this twice. I loved him in King of Queen's too. He stole that show, too. :o)

Just one aspect of the brilliant writing and directing. On one level everything is ridiculous, but it's also all justified in the reality of the situation. George's parents didn't have to be included, but they justified his character. How could George have turned out any differently?

Jerry's ability to go from 1 to 10 was one one of my favorite things about the show. In a show about neurotic people acting neurotic, Jerry Stiller was one of the best.

His delivery in the silver dollar scene is just magical. It's somewhere between (1) Jerry Stiller not remembering the lines, (2) the character Frank just making the whole thing up, and (3) he's just weird.

It was actually Jason Alexander's idea to do it. Jerry stiller was hesitant and was so nice that he would barely hit him to which Jason said no you really got to hit me.

I always loved Jerry Stiller, but watching this compilation makes me appreciate how he can make the most ridiculous line or situation even more funny with his mannerisms and timing omg.

He reminds me so much of my dad. The whole TV guide episode when Frank gets irate that Elaine took the tv guide is my dad too a T. Also my dad talks really loud and when he is upset it gets even louder. Im like George getting embarrassed when im in public with him.
